We used to do alot of sledding through the 80's and up till about '94 and I drove an 84 Ski Doo SS25
Can't find any pictures of it but it was identical to this one.
I started ice fishing around 60 years ago and after a few decades of staring down holes I figured just about anything had to be more exciting....even watching bowling on TV
Mike, if your little guy likes to take a break from fishing and lay down or play on the floor of the boat, be aware that vinyl will be very hot in the sun, so you'll need to take a blanket with you.
Just something to think about.
Not much you can do to stop the ice once it starts to move Cliff , other than stand back and watch the destruction.
I stood on the shore with a neighbor last April and watched the ice tear his very expensive aluminum dock to shreds.
Pretty helpless feeling for sure.
I've had wood, aluminum, vinyl & carpeted floors over the years Mike and prefer the carpet myself but it's all a personal preference.
If I bought another boat it'd be carpet.
Only thing I was backing up Mike is the fact that a person should be entitled to voice his own PERSONAL opinion around here without receiving a bunch of childish remarks.
Some of you guys are pretty comical really...or is it sad ??
All Mike said was he prefers to see pictures of live animals rather that those that had been killed by hunters and immediately some of you have to start the nonsense about where food comes from.
Pretty sure Mike knows where it comes from, he's a sharp guy, and I doubt he needs all the childish comments but as usual their inevitable by some members.
Maybe a few guys around here could try something different and let a person give his opinion about a topic without all the foolish commentary.
