Ling taste good, I like Ling. Ugly little critters but who cares. A guy in North Bay that ran a restaurant 35 years back told me if you order scallops there you are getting Ling loin.

Good point SHP. They are all good in their own way. -
I haven't a dog in this fight. I don't and never have partaken with regularity in the sacrament, seriously maybe 3 times in 61 yrs. My wife was a regular before I met her, now 1 oz. lasts her almost a year. I do not think I will see it sold retail in my life, 20 years maybe. Once Gen X individuals are the majority of our politicians you will see a change in policy. Justin is a Generation X kid so there is hope for you criminal stoners. Maybe decriminalized soon but legal, not yet. It's a long way from doing a few months to a few years for possession to selling it next to the munchies at a 7-11. If I'm still here I might buy a joint to bring home with a bag of chips. But in the mean time I'd save your breath waiting for it. If it does become legal soon I'm buying shares in Frito Lay corp.

Such a sad story. It would be great to be able to get the dog to see the neighbour, I doubt the hospital will comply. If he can speak put him on the phone and let the pup hear his voice. We went through basically the same when we got divorced, I just went by to see her, and borrow my $$ from my ex.

Best to you and your lady this holiday season Steve. You should have left me the keys you could have made a few more bucks at the Marina. When anyone asks me where there is a free ramp around here I give them your address. I hear a few pics have been nabbed out front. Don't forget your sunscreen you lucky b$%$#$@d. Johnny D

Oh no, not another "are you covered by insurance when you go through the ice?" discussion. Every winter. It should be are you covered by insurance if you are stupid.

Xplornet was all we could get here until recently. Not fast enough for streaming i.e. Netflix etc. as I have learned from the techies here. Fast enough for us. Shaw has something faster out this way now, happy with xplornet, it's not prone to going down due to storms.

Lets try this date for a Hamilton and area GTG

It will all come together. I'm really looking forward to this. Where has young Christopher been. I haven't heard from him since I got a new computer? I hope he is fishing in some exotic locale somewhere. -
Depending on any accessories that's about right. The 20 and tank has to be worth $1200.00 alone, the boat is $500.00 and the trailers are basically going for nada. A buddy paid 500 for a 15' Lund tinny for Duck hunting from a camp rental last year, no leaks. Guys are giving away old glass boats with 40HP anchors on them with trailers so they don't have to pay by the kilo to scrap them at the dump. No one wants the old smallish glass boats with a seized motor.

My father bought Labbats IPA when we were kids. When I was old enough to sneak into the Derby Hotel on Queenston Rd.the boys ordered a tray of draught and I ordered a Rye and Coke. I told them I hated beer, I thought all beer was like that IPA swill. Once we moved out of the house he started buying Golden. Come to find out he suffered through IPA so we wouldn't drink his beer. Molson Stock was my uncle from Kentucky's favorite. He filled his trunk full to go back down south. Sex now is channel surfing and coming across a X rated movie, watching for 30 seconds, maybe, and going right to a reality show about guys working on their job.

Pics I am very sorry to hear about your Father-in-law. Yea just keep truckin along is all you can really do. I must have worked over 20 Christmases and New Years in all those years. Even when I was on days for a few years we had to go in for the shut downs and then start ups. It was part of the deal because I knew a good, really good, pension was at the end of the tunnel. I had enough for site to take it early even though I took a major hit. So I consider myself luckier than others. Will we see you on the 9th? Try and make it.

No not true, she was making a cup of coffee.

1.5 Billion dollar deal. I would think it won't be cheap. We are rural and use Koodo, no complaints, best price available.

Wowza. What size live well do you need t 47"oA Bl keep 105 pound fish alive, another boat filled with water? It didn't mention what lb. test, crane cable? Good for him, a story for a lifetime if he never catches another fish. Anyone know the world record cat? Watch for the naysayers to come out now. It always seems to happen on a record fish. I know how to Bing and Google. 2011, Nick Anderson a HS Football coach in Greenville North Carolina on Fathers Day weekend. A IGFA recognized World record of a Blue Catfish weighing in at 143 pounds measuring 57" long and a girth of 47". This is where the naysayers start coming out of the millwork I'm sure. It took 45 minutes and he said he used an Ugly Stick with a Shimano reel spooled with 30 pound test. The record of any catfish in some states is not recognized as some consider them to be an invasive species. I believe it was caught but I have trouble myself picturing a Wall Mart Ugly Stick holding out that long.

putting a price on my used bowmount motorguide?
Old Ironmaker replied to bawbag's topic in General Discussion
I have a 55 lb wireless Motor Guide with foot control, 24V that is 15 years old. I tried to sell it and couldn't get $200.00, for less than that I decided to keep it. It looks good up there, I never use it here on Erie, twice actually. I call it the "hood ornament". The batteries are more than 200 bucks. Some guys wanted the batteries too, that would be a free motor in my books. I guess it was the age. I wonder how much that was new? Big bucks I think. PM me if you want it. I would love one of those newfangled I Pilots or similar like Dan Columby had on his beauty of a water craft. Man that is sweet. Some day. -
Great link to the iboat forum cheaptackle. I have used iboats a lot and there is a lot of experience to draw on. Always more than 1 way to skin a cat or paint a boat. Thanks.

You are bang on when it comes to prep. What type of paint did you use Albert? Did you clear coat it?

Do steelheaders still tie spawn bags?

Walleye fight? I get more of a fight from the Dipsy. But they are my favorite eaters. I did eat the Rainbow, stuffed on the BBQ but not the salmon. I should keep one if I'm lucky? Dragging worms out here is all about the eating. -
Sorry folks there will be no snow this winter
Old Ironmaker replied to crappieperchhunter's topic in General Discussion
That will be the day I get on a snowmobile. I'll buy it so it doesn't snow. -

I was remiss in not mentioning Moosebunks reports. Sorry Moosebunk, and the photographs are great bar none. I've plagiarised a few, and they better be good for me to take credit for. -
