4-4.5k. That's it. It needs motor work. Who knows what is going to be found once its opened up. Count on at least a grand to fix the engine. Once its apart, the rings and pistons may as well be changed on the other cylinders and it may need To be bored and honed. How old are the batteries?? Electronics?? Etc......

I hate to tell you this but its a bad idea. There's liability issues as well. Does your boat have insurance and who does it cover?
-
Go with 15 percent. Try that and work from there.

My alltime favorite body of water. NICE!!

You don't need a pressure hose. Regular garden hose works just fine.

Starbrite Hull cleaner. Available at Cdn Tire. Mix 50/50 in a spray bottle with water. Wet hull with hose, spray on, leave for a few minutes, get a car wash brush, give quick little scrub and hose off. VOILA!! Never fails.

You got that right Lew!! We had a great evening on Friday, lots of catching up (one of the guys comes up from New Jersey). All of us except 1 of the group are married and most have kids now so the nature of the trip has changed from a weekend of partying with some fishing to a weekend of fishing with some partying. Good times.

I'd be going after him for the part in question, threaten that you will be calling VISA and notifying them that his business defrauded you(them). That'll straighten them out right quick. -
We were 3 for 4 on Saturday. The weather was unbelivable. The fishing wasn't great. We landed 3 fish which was enough for a fish fry yesterday afternoon. Good time with old friends.

Yah baby!! Hittin the road @ 1. Here's to hoping I catch a 20yr old pike.
-
Boat washed and ready, batteries charged, gassed up (owwwwww!!) all systems go. Rods ready, tackle ready. Now if the pike up there are cooperative for me and the boys. The Riverside Inn is booked for our normal suite. This is our 20th annual trip to Bracebridge. Now for Friday to come so we can hit the road.

Mine is Sunbrella. Its 11 years old and still going.

Nice Lew!! That's the Cadillac of musky setups. We have to get out and wash a lure or two this summer.
-
Happy Belated BDay!!! I hope you had a great day yesterday.

BJ Tackle is right in Bewdley beside the boat launch. Good luck on Rice.

Not good news. I used to ride my dirt bike in the Ganny when I was a crazy kid.

Good for you. Don't mess around with that. Also, get the suspension checked on the trailer. You don't need to take unnecessary risks. It could be a fairly easy fix. Check out iboats.com. You should get a pretty good idea of what exactly the problem is on the forums there. Great resource for anyone that has a boat.

Abu Record is a good reel. The 60 size. It is in your price range. Okuma makes a halfway decent reel as well.

You are good at 2pm. I head up to Honey Harbour every Fri afternoon in the summer around that time. Its hit and miss to Barrie, once you get up on the 400 extension, its relatively smooth sailing.

Getting ready for my June muskie trip...

Either Gagnon's or Tightlines shoud have what you need. You can get the chip through Jos at Angling Outfitters in Woodstock. From what I hear, he is the man when it comes to electronics. -
Krixxer, good comment. It is true to a point. I have spoken to members of a certain ethnic group hammering panfish on the Bewdley dock keeping absolutely everything. I asked why?? Those fish are too bony. The reply, they get ground up into a paste to be used as a condiment. My reply, If you keep fishing like that, there won't be any fish left in the lake. No reply. What do you do?? I'd call the MNR if there are any violations of the regs, and I don't care what race, colour, creed, religion or political views you have. One thing we all need to remember is that the people here before that certain ethnic group namely we white bread and the natives to North America fished out a lot of our waters and polluted the heck out of them first. It's up to all of us to manage our resources and it is incumbent upon each and everyone to report overfishing to the MNR. Hopefully the MNR can slow down the degredation of our resources. So endeth my sermon.

Happy wife.......Happy life. She can outfish you when you are with her but when you are out with the lads, then you can REALLY fish.

I finally splashed the boat on Saturday morning after my fishing partner slept in 45mins. We hit Huronia Bait for some suckers and launched in Honey Harbour. Sunday was the pike tourney so we definitely didn't want to be there then. From what I heard, there were almost 60 boats registered. We worked a few promising spots but with a Northeast wind, fishing wasn't great. I was 1 for 2 with live bait and my cousin got skunked fishing artificials. 6lb northern graced the pan for Sunday lunch after my wife ran the Mississauga half marathon.

Make sure you get enough. I'd check to see if the API service rating is the same between the original Yamaha oil and the stuff you are buying from CT. If the rating is for example SM on the Yamaha oil and the oil from CT is SM or SN you'll be fine.
