Thanks for the report, Stan. You certainly picked the right guy to put your friend onto his first walleye. Sounds and looks like you had a wonderful day.
A very good friend in West Virginia took these on the weekend. She's a good photographer and given the conditions, did a great job.
The first is the man himself with his boys.
Then a great shot with Merle Haggard.
Last is a pic with the great Ray Price.
OK, where are those great weekend reports that brighten up the sombre life of this shut-in every Monday morning? And while you're at it, where the heck is Tom (TJSA). He hasn't been online in over a month. Hope all is well with him.
A great in-depth report, Johnny. You certainly work at it. If there's a record to be had somewhere...you deserve it. Thanks for taking the time to share your day.
The term "invasive species' is given to a fish/animal that has yet no dollar value on the commercial or recreational market. Find a niche for them either comestible or sport (crossbow) and they'll be welcomed with open arms. Sorry, that's how I feel today. As long as someone is making money.....
Any river flowing into the bay there will hold searun brookies. Simply use light line and worm. Careful of the salmon rivers ...you can't fish there without a specific salmon permit. The harbour itself will be holding lots of mackeral at this time of the year. Spinning gear and silvery spoons is the ticket. Have a great trip.
