  1. Rich, I have no doubt that you know your knots and line qualities. So far my only thought on why you're having problems is the fast river bottom (rocks) vs. soft muddy bottom lake/pond for the carp.
  2. So they're no longer snaggin'? Just dinner and a few drinks now?
  3. Yes, too far. Apparently too far for the dwarves (<--- Tolkien speling) as well...
  4. Berkley will have flyboard rod holders available in no time. As for the rods, sorry Shimano, the term "fly rod" has already been taken.
  5. Just watch...there'll be a bow season opening for them soon.
  6. If I saw a big hand coming down from the sky, barometric pressure would be the last thing on my mind.
  7. Go get her, Rob!
  8. Great job, happy for you guys!
  9. Let's just not compare parking in a hospital parking which is the same price for everyone as the price to launch a boat somewhere. I have a choice with boat parking...I don't have a choice with hospital parking for a loved one.
  10. Careful now....no need to get ourselves in a tizzy.
  11. Way to go Jack! A really big fish you got there. You know, you're learning from one of the best but I have a feeling that you're already better than your teacher. Thanks for the pictures and video clip.
  12. Starting to get ugly here. Be careful.
  13. Water is not 100% water..elm is 140% water???
  14. Looking forward to seeing what you can get. Lots jumping around here but I haven't the patience to film.
  15. Go for it Babe.....if anyone can do it justice, it's you!
  16. Very nice!!!! Thanks you!
  17. Yes Lew....was up at 2am here and it was quite the sight. (Not me, I mean the moon!)
  18. Also known as the fishing moon will be out in all it's splendor tonight under clear skies (here anyway). Get out fishing and bring a camera. The moon should be really nice tonight between dusk and dawn.
  19. Great report Mike. Some handsome looking fish there.
  20. It appears as though this thread has come to the end of its useful life. Thank you. Speak quietly amongst yourselves.
  21. Welcome aboard, Skunk.
  22. Peace and quiet.....how can you not like that. Beautiful specks as well. Thanks for sharing.
  23. NEWBIE! My oldest is 47 and my baby is 31. I became a great grandfather August 4th. All I hope is that I can take her to school a few times at least.
  24. Yup, since the middle of July, thousands of them in the yard, toads though, not frogs. I've never seen that many in one small area. I've been having trouble cutting the lawn.
  25. I'm really happy for you Chad. You must have worked hard for it....you deserve it. Let me know when I can get out there to fish the creek with you.
