  1. That makes you 110% wrong Fido!
  2. Man am I ever glad you asked that. I pretended I knew so that I wouldn't look too stupid.
  3. OK, I'll try again. I'll reset your password (if you want) and pm you the new scuro password to the scuro2 account then try to sign into the scuro account. And yes, try what Tony says.....I thought we'd been through all of this.
  4. Happy Birthday y'old bugger! Hope you had a great day! You'll be caught up to me in no time at all!
  5. "SHE" is a heavy duty boy called Jack.
  6. I was up close to that hovercraft a few times...they're going to be putting her to rest, probably at the end of this season. Too bad, it's been very useful. I'm still awed by those things' power.
  7. Absolutely beautiful big, clean perch Greg. You're out there cause you're used to it. I never would well...because I'm too much of a chickenpoop. I know folks appreciate your posts showing your catches but I hope it doesn't encourage noobs to get out there on that ice. Thanks for sharing.
  8. That reminds me, I must call Zack to ask him what the ice conditions are on the West Arm.
  9. I dabble in it Bill. :-)
  10. Un calvaire de beau rapport Fido!
  11. This is all I see on it Bud. Nine Mile River - 100 m (328 ft.) above Port Albert Fishway - Ashfield Twp. Fish sanctuary - no fishing from 4th Sat. in Apr. - May 15 & Sept. 1 - Nov. 30.
  12. Good to hear from you Kevin. Save some of that kindling for June :-)
  13. Very nice report Senator! Those slabs are huge and the cat ain't no slouch either. I'd trade you a bunch of slabs and that cat to get into a mess of blues though...we don't have them here. Some of those launch ramp hijinx are hilarious! Thanks!
  14. VERY impressive Tony! Thanks for posting.
  15. Gee I don't know Bassman. When was their last "put $10 in the kitty" meeting?
  16. I don't think that hook keepers are all they're cracked up to be. For a large bait they're next to useless. For small(er) baits just thread a small tie-wrap through a split ring of appropriate size then tighten the tie-wrap anywhere you like. Lots use their rod guides for hook keepers but I won't. Guides are made to have line running freely through them, not as an anchor....even the good quality ones are too easy to scratch, bend, etc... The tie-wrap system works even better if you can put it on your reel without messing anything up. Some folks with baitcasting rods drill a hole in the fingergrip.
  17. All's good folks. I'm sure they're both having a beer after a hard day on poop patrol reminiscing about the days when he was holdie's commander in the turd battalion.
  18. Well hell ol' buddy. Y'shoulda told me that that was a Cajun sushi place.
  19. * makes mental note to not eat sushi in Virginia NOR West (by God) Virginia.*
  20. I don't think the word fishing was spoken anywhere.
  21. Thanks for sharing the video. I thought it was entertaining. It's only 45 miles from me and I've seen it up close. Hell, half those folks have the same last name as me. I know that it wouldn't sit right in very many other places but you still do have to try to understand them.
  22. Meh...it would have been 25" Dan....the AK-47 shortened it a little...
  23. Congrats! I'm really happy for ya Bud! Enjoy every minute of it! And YES, TAKE PICTURES!
  24. And you SHOULD feel better Carole. That's a great catch. I can see a lot more of those beauties coming in now. Congrats to you!
  25. Great closing for sure Rick. Congrats to you. It's on to the softwater now....
