  1. Ummm yes, you make a good point.
  2. Some really nice fish there guys, and gal, congrats to you. Was this really the third? I thought it was the second. Or maybe you have more than one running at the same time?
  3. Offhand, it looks like a Fred. I see the lil' dickens who chomped on Fred also had a side of green salad.
  4. Yeah, I saw a new looking 18' Crestliner on a trailer with a 90hp four stroke. He wants $17,000. for it. BUT, just a little further down the road ( de Montbrun) there's some folding closet doors....dunno how much they want for them.
  5. Must be the flashaboo eh?
  6. Mike, they're a lot harder to pull through the water. Sure they're ok but, IMO the extra Colorado or whatever will not put extra fish in the boat. It WILL however wear your reel gears and arms a lot more quickly. If the two blade ever gets popular, the three blade will be the next "super" invention. I have a couple but they don't impress me. You want an extra blade on there?, tag it on the end of the tail treble......just as much flash, much easier on the gears and arms. Hey, it's just my opinion.
  7. I think it was yesterday that you sent me that Randy...I think it's GREAT!!!!! I watched it 3 times.... be happy cause I didn't even watch Ben-Hur 3 times.
  8. Yes... it's still on for 2009. Members here have been submitting their OFC tourney entries since January for extra inches in our tourney.

    hello

Basschef AKA angrypigeon AKA izaakwalton..... I guess we'll have to go big time with you. Is there nothing for you to do in the Soo?
  10. Those pics are just out of this world Dan!
  11. Good on ya Tony...and everyone else who participated.
  12. There is no central database. If the shysters you took the test with went under, you're out of luck if you need a new card. Folks who took theirs with any of the Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons are in a bit of a better position. WOW! I can't believe how safe our waters will be now!
  13. Pretty well everyone must have theirs by now.
  14. Only 59 days to go. Who else is making the trek?

  16. Great report Mike. The boys must have had a blast. Thanks for sharing that..
  17. What I like about this whole thing aside from the fact that some help will be generated for the fight against cancer is that for the first time in history will the sport of baseball be elevated to our niveau!
  18. Keep pluggin' Richard. Good luck and let us know how day 3 of prefish went.
  19. Careful though, there are commercial caches and private caches. Private caches are often used to leave boats to navigate to another lake or river or to get you to a cabin or outpost. They will assign your cached boat a reg. number. If the number is followed by "PT", P=private and T=transport, you cannot fish from that boat. It's for transport only. Weird but that's the way it is...or at least that's the way I read it.
  20. Weren't hippos popular in the 60's?
  21. Loic, Gerritt has a 17 footer for sale in our classifieds here. Maybe he can fill you in.
  22. CTC expanding their arms department?
  23. Great report Rob. If you don't already, you'll be knowing more about the back roads, trails and lakes than the locals do. Good job on the reconnaissance.
  24. EPIC!!!!! All y'all's arms must be an inch or two longer than when you started out! What a fantastic trip. Thank you.
  25. Couple that with an outing or two with a few of the board members and you'll be a happenin' fishing dude.
