  1. Super report Ron! A week of Muskies/pike/brookies! Heaven.....not too sure about a week with Cupcake though. Glad you guys had a good time despite the weather.
  2. Nice fish yeah, what's Phil doing in that pic?
  3. Splashhopper......thank you for looking out for a fellow member but I think that all is under control. When you need information about these kinds of things, PM one of the mods. These threads make things worse. I'm going to lock this because it's not helping anything and you'll have your answer very soon.
  4. If there are that many bass in the lake, I would guess that the competition for food is tough. I fished two lakes like that this season. One was infested with specks. Couldn't keep them off your line but we were hard pressed to find one over 13" Another lake was all pike. They were a PITA...largest we got was 20" believe it or not. But there was one on almost every cast.
  5. It shouldn't sink at all if you're trolling or drifting. It'll go down to the depth you want it at and stay in that same general depth. I use 6-8lb mono behind the bouncer.
  6. Where muskies are concerned, if it moves, it's food.
  7. If you have the 65 or 70lb thrust models you will need two 12 volt deep cycle batteries connected in series to produce 24 volts. If you have the 55, 50 or 40lb thrust models, you only need one 12 volt deep cycle battery. You can lengthen your run time by using two 12 volt batteries also but in this case they need to be connected in parallel.
  8. I have a Princecraft with a 24V/70lb thrust Minn-Kota bowmount. Which bowmount motor do you have?
  9. It might be the "mysterious first post" river. There's bass so it's not in Japan. One down, 192 countries to go.
  10. Funny as hell Randy, thanks for that.
  11. HEY Paulucci! Happy bird day eh? Think after a few thousand tries you can pierce the quarter? Maybe Dan Boone can help you wit dat! Also, your tents have been in the wet for a week...they need a blow dry... fairies can't do it. Need a recomendation? You have the best day my friend. edit: What am I saying... you already have Joey so you're having a great life!
  12. Sounds as though you guys as a family have got it together Mike. Good stuff!
  13. That's fantastic news Tony! You worked for it, you put in the time and effort, you deserve it! Good on ya, congrats!
  14. Priceless videos!
  15. WOW!!! I have to re-read that now!
  16. Really nice Mike! Good on ya.
  17. I hear ya, Jim. Protectors of the resource but it's ok to dump your fellow man in the river. Isn't evolution great?
  18. Ontario and Quebec have a reciprocal agreement for fishing permits on boundary waters such as the Ottawa River. On this river, only one permit is needed, either an Ontario or a Quebec license.
  19. Tim, I think that we've done (including Jocko) everything that we could to right the situation. Taking a stick to the horse isn't going to help anything. Should you wish to continue this discussion, take it to our admin and or Jocko OFF the board. Any future posts concerning this will be rendered invisible. Thank you for understanding.
  20. 6'7" nice fish.
  21. Unbelievable.... I guess it depends on what kind of a day you're having. The largest organ in our body, skin, is still way too thin. Lighten up.
  22. Great insight from someone who knows. Thanks Craig.
  23. Is the date confirmed? And where is everyone staying?
  24. Great vids Brandon. Thanks for sharing...I know it was a lot of work putting it all together.
