You're one tough dude, Connie. That was a beautiful account of your trip. Too bad about the rest of the regular crew but I suppose that life is all about priorities. I have no point of reference as I've never been up there but that water appears to be terribly low. It must have changed where you fished with the new challenges and hazards. Stripping down to go play in the water up there in May must be another hazard on body parts. And those aerial shots, man, everytime I see those I keep thinking that I'd want to stop at every lake and river to give them a try. It was cold and pouring rain here this morning...he we are, 2:25PM and it's still pouring and cold. It's windy also. We needed the rain though.

Great report! Consider yourself fortunate to have seen one...It looks to me to be a Van Dyke's salamander and if it is, it's one of the rarest in North America. Do you have a hi-res pic of it?

Don't worry about it John, you're well respected here. Some folks have problems dealing with alcohol or drugs.....sometimes the problem with them is as simple as finding someone to listen to them while they rant about the problems they've had to put up with in the mailroom today. All is good.
