  1. Fantastic, guys! Really happy for you! No net is easy, I wanna see you try it with a net and no rods. Really glad you had a good day, weather looked iffy there for a while. Quite the boost for team #5 too! Oh wait, Paul didn't forget the sign too did he? Beauty pics Dearheart. Pete, I always figured you for a red bike.
  2. Good stuff, Jeff. I've only been out once on Lloyd's boat but I'll get out there again for sure.
  3. 'Twas only a matter of time. You're both very welcoming, entertaining folks. Sounds like a party and a half, Bud. Thanks for the pics. The next time, there'll be a bonus in it for you if you include a pic of Monique.
  4. Thanks for the invite, Paul. It was a nice relaxing time. Some good chuckles out there too. You have a fine boat that you'll enjoy for years to come.
  5. Looks like a moth...maybe an atlas?
  6. Thanks for that, Tyler. You have yourself a great summer!
  7. How much??
  8. I didn't know they still sold them. They made a heck of a mess on everything they touched.
  9. Very little of it goes to auction. Firearms seized from poachers are given to police to be destroyed. Fishing equipment is usually made available to organizations such as "Take a Kid Fishing". A lot of the time, seized gear will be returned to the to the owner if he's not known to be a repeat offender.
  10. They're hearty lil' rascals, a dozen or 15 a day should do you if you're careful.
  11. Paul, I bought two in '66. They were the best reels available to me at the time. They came in a leather case with screwdriver, oil and such. I gave one to a Native dude who helped me out of a bind on Kabinakagami in '67. My youngest son Jeff has the other one which he keeps along with other precious (to him) collectibles. Yes, it's a fine reel. ps. I bought those reels from a dear freind who at the time owned Pat's Camera and Sports at Broadview and Danforth in Toronto. The very same day I bought the largest tackle box I could find from him. It was a 3 tray Umco aluminum box which I still have.
  12. If you do a search for all the posts that start with "no offence but...", you'll find that most of them are locked.
  13. How many do you want to do? Why don't you just skin them?
  14. Another fine outing for the memory bank. Congrats to you and Juli, a happy belated birthday to you and thank you for posting the report.
  15. Those of you who are for mandatory testing, please take a moment to post one or two of the questions you'd like to see on this test. Seriously, I need a smile this morning.
  16. A really good informative, well executed video, Brandon. Congrats to you and Jon.

  18. Welcome aboard. Chris K eh? Don't say that too loud around here. Are you teaching him how to fish?

  20. A 24 hour break in postal delivery here in my area today. That will likely cripple the system.
  21. I guess they were in a bass boat wearing Bass Pro Shop apparel pitchin' Bassassassins on their flippin' sticks, Jer.
  22. My brother in law was at one time one of the largest bimini and top manufacturers. They sold their business a few years ago but my sister in law (Kristina King) is still there looking after the administration. Whether you buy from them or not, it'd be worth your while to have a look through their website for tips on bimini tops. This is one link: http://www.gmitopdesign.com/ This is another for FAQ: http://www.gmitopdesign.com/faq-e.html
  23. Sounds like a defective batch of clevises to me and there must be others with the same problem. Can you contact the manufacturer about the problem? They're in Missouri at 636-227-2514.
