Wow.......I just finished mowing my lawn and it's only April 4th.... ...I should of mowed it last week but I try to put off as LONG as possible....because we all know that once you do it, it grows faster and faster....I was hoping to put it off at least another week and (I always try to get to May 1st but never do) Vegas is calling me this week and I didn't want to come home a millionaire and have to use a sickle on my lawn.... So, any of you guys from the Great White North mowing yet....or do you still have the snow blower on stand by...

Back in late Feb or early March while ice fishing on Silver Lake there was a huge flock of these where the ice met the open water near mid lake....must of been at least 50 or more.

Oh, I'll be out of town......but you'll be back...maybe then...the Niagara will draw you back once you experienced it...

BTW Boys and Girls........you to Fisherman.....LOL....the word must really be out as I was at the Galleria Mall yesterday and a HUGE Trail Lines bus from Ontario was there with a whole bus load of your fellow citizens buying everything in sight....then while I was sitting in the van a nice middle age lady came up to the van window to ask me a question.....she wanted to know where Kolh's is....when I told her to take Walden Ave, right on Transit Rd and keep driving a ways until you pass Walmart, she said GREAT we want to go to Walmart too..... I think I just felt a small bump in our local economy....

Egg sacks and or Kwickfish lures drifted on a 3 way rig is the basic set up in the lower Niagara River....get out early, especially if your fishing on a weekend....many good drifts along the Canadian and NYS side of the river.....if things are slow head down river and drift or TROLL near the mouth for coho's and or brown trout that are in the shallows right now along the shore line. You shouldn't have any trouble catching lots of fish right now if the weather holds. Good Luck, Bob

When I used a starting battery for all the electronics plus cranking the outboard I would get about 4 years out of my battery....then I tried a dual purpose battery (Delco Voyager) and I got 9 years out of it...actually just changed it out because I thought my luck might run out in the middle of Lake Erie.....so 2 years ago I purchased another Dual Purpose Battery but I couldn't find another Delco Voyager around here....

I agree 100%......so next time over, just tell them you know me... As a matter of fact we were discussing of taking down the custom inspections at work one day....that was about 3-4 months just prior to 9/11....my one buddy has race horses in Fort Erie and I mentioned what a hassle it is to stop and tell them where I was born and how long I'm going to stay in Canada....I thought "who cares where I was born, etc..." but then 9/11 happened and now we live in this era....

I believe you guys now have the Enhanced Driver's License thing....Right... ...I don't have a passport either but I do have the EDL thing...

Beans, You got that correct as you must of read the article I posted....where many just pissed and moaned instead of taking the time to READ.... I agree it doesn't make sense for many who have to travel a long ways to get over the boarder...however, if you you're making a trip anyways....well then it does make sense....And "Fisherman".....you can also buy LESS expensive gasoline here on the same trip....that's like double dipping partner...LOL... Back in the 70's I use to buy less expensive gasoline in Fort Erie...sometimes even see the Canadian Ballet while I was there, as I really enjoy the fine arts that Fort Erie had to offer...

How much money you want to spend/waste is my question..... My 1985 Johnson VRO 50hp is currently running on Johnson oil because a friend gave me 2.5 gallons of it.....before that it was Walmart SuperTech for the last 10 years or so....before that Lubermatic for about 8 years....after this free 2.5 gallons is gone I have a free gallon of Merc Silver Oil and then after that it will be Walmart SuperTech again as it runs great on it....just like all the other oils it has eaten in the last 27 years......I was getting the Walmart SuperTech for $8.99 per gallon.....but I'm sure the price has increased lately, just like everything else...

It could be because Honda doesn't really make a truck.... ....Honda as you might know, doesn't even offer a V-8 under the hood.....you can't make a omlete without breaking some eggs and you can't make a real truck without a V-8 under the hood... But the Honda Pilot has one of the best SUV Consumer Reports recommendations out there....I wouldn't mind owning one.....but I wouldn't like to pay for it.....they are PRICEY IMHO....my wife's Honda Civic just turned 3 years old this month....and it's never been back to the dealer....they build a good vehicle from my experience....
