The river (lower or upper) tends to lend to smaller smallmouth than either lake. With that said the bar that sit just into the lake is incredible for bass but this is mostly in US waters. As far as things to watch for with a 16 footer I would say none unless you want to go to Devil's Hole and I wouldn't for bass. Stronger current the more you go up river and of course the opposite heading down river. You will find MANY structural areas all along the Canadian side as well as the US for not only smallies but walleyes also. Good Luck, Bob

Under my wife's insurance plan everything you listed would be free of charge in the USA....... Remove the other plug and get a VERY bright flashlight (small Mag Light). Check the threads and inside the cylinder using the flashlight for any loose metal. With the other plug removed you can by hand turn the fly wheel to get the piston on top. Good Luck Fishing, Bob

My son played college football and then coached college football for two years. He would recruit high school players in the off season but was only allowed to talk to seniors because of NCAA recruiting rules so that may be your biggest reason you are not hearing much from US Universities.....

I have to agree......GREAT forum..........GREAT people.......today we might disagree on this but tomorrow we are still friends.........I have seen total strangers on this forum volunteer their time to repair someone truck, car, boat, dock you name it.......... never seen that anywhere else.

IMHO I would go to Walmart or wherever and get two or three pairs of $10 -$20 polarized sunglasses. This way you can one pair in the boat one in the car, etc......and when one breaks or you lose one so what.

And Barry Bonds and Mark Mcgwire and Sammy Sosa and Roger Clemens and hundreds of other baseball players NEVER took steroids because they said they didn't take steroids. One more time.........OJ Simpson was found innocent with a mountain of evidence against him in a Kalifornia Kangaroo Court. What part of this is not understood... he spent MILLIONS getting away with MURDER. BTW a civil court did find Simpson GUILTY.......but for years he pursued his wife's killer at every high priced golf course he could find until finally justice caught up to him in Las Vegas, Nevada.

ANY 12 volt battery will "work" but do you want to have a good battery you can depend on and have for several years or do you want a "disposable" battery that might get the job done for the season and have to purchase another battery the following year. That's up to YOU......... Bob
