  1. Not sure where you are but Aikmans in Mississauga is a Minn Kota repair center.
  2. Reel is roughly 5 years old, don't know what part(s) have broken but when I reel in the line does not pick up consistently. It will reel in a foot or so then nothing for a few handle turns then in again - seems like the worm gear (?) is worn. It a converctor 30D. Tried Aikmans a while back but was told they don't service Okuma's. Thanks for the help so far guys. Steve
  3. Hi all, Wondering if someone can point me in the right direction, I have an Okuma Convector that is in need of repair and I am hoping to find a repair shop in the GTA. I understand Rocky's in Orillia is an authorized repair center but I don't really get out that way. Anyone or place in the GTA that can do the repair? Thanks, Steve
  4. Yea saw the Muskie suckers at the show, look good and price point was there with many other Muskie lures, $20 - $28 depending on size. Finish was nice too but perhaps even less of a concern with Muskie.
  5. Fantastic report and super pictures. Definitely more interesting than the leaf game on right now!
  6. Ha Ha they sure know how to squeeze every cent out of the Angry Birds brand!
  7. Great job, stuck with it an dit paid off.
  8. Thanks for the replies guys, anybody try the solar bats? Happy Hooker
  9. Hi all, Looking for a little advice on purchasing a new pair of polarized sunglasses. I am willing to spend more for a quality pair but are they worth it? Anybody have any reccomendations on brand and tints. I read a little about Maui Jim's but am wondering if a pair with glass lenses are a good idea considering the size and weight of the baits we chuck when musky fishing? I realize the different lense tints are for different light conditions but what is a good all round tint? What about glasses with interchangable lenses anybody have a pair - good, bad? I am looking for a pair that are comfortable, can help with seeing follows, are the correct tint to get good results in any light conditions and for safety from not only UV rays but also mis-guided lures. Hope to hear all your experiences good or bad. Thanks in advance. Happy Hooker Steve
