LOVE Stoney Lake....only fished it twice but did good both times....once in late May and once in Late June......great top water lake for smallies and largemouth......also has some VERY nice Bluegills......not to mention my target fish....walleyes. I wish I could help you now but I'm sure it's a completely different pattern now in the second week of September.....but it feels like mid July here in WNY... Good Luck and take LOTS of nightcrawlers... Bob

It's a early '07 truck....

SO SORRY Cliff....didn't think of it that way.... Little Tundra slept the whole time outside in the shade while I did the brake job....she was so good I'm going to take her to a park to run and run and run so she'll sleep again...

I'm ALL DONE... 2 not 1 map gas torches and BINGO.... I did like the video and will keep in mind for the next time... And Paul, I am a mechanic with RA who can still do some work depending on how well I feel.....Went to Alfred State University and have a associates degree in light auto mechanics....but now with almost EVERYTHING being computer controlled, I'm pretty much useless in most aspects of today's modern vehicles.... ...changing brake rotors and pads are not complicated IF you can get them damn rotors off...

We have our fair share of "chain pickerel" in our state....Oneida Lake which is know for it's walleye population has been producing more and more pickerel because the weeds are growing within deep waters because of the zebra mussel population....probably not a good thing. Here's a couple from Oneida Lake....

My Toyota Tundra is down for a brake job.......needs rear brake job. I tried to remove the REAR brake rotor/drum a few days ago and I couldn't budge it...I need to replace the rotors and disc pads on this beast....the friggin tires alone must way at least 100 lbs each... ...I going back in today with a map gas torch and if need be I will borrow a acetylene torch...but does anyone have any other suggestions on seized rotors and how you got them off.....I had a Ford Escape that took me over 3 hours to remove the stupid rotors....only until I got a acetylene torch did the passenger side come loose.

I have to give credit to solopaddler for sticking up for his beloved league... Someday you opinion my change.....the NFL doesn't have enough football and too many commercials....too many yellow flags....but last nights game was excellent...now if only our owner would pass on and a new one take over and get serious about winning we would really have something to cheer about... Go Ralph Wilson and leave the Bills behind....

I was looking at the Harrah's hotel chains and went through my wife's Total Reward points and it looks like we are being comped 5 FREE (my favorite 4 letter word) nights in April.....can't beat that deal with an Ugly Stick... If you go in Jan take some sweaters and or jackets....it's cold there at that time of the year.

Hey Terry, Many many moons ago while on our honeymoon we took a tour bus in Toronto, eh.....and the driver said to get close double the Celsius and add 30...eh....so since then that's how I figure out the Canadian secret temperatures...eh....

We have nothing but GREAT weather down here on the other side of the border... Actually we had Great weather the whole weekend but a bit too humid for my liking...

Most likely he'll get a good Turtle Lawyer and serve no time... Hey, if this was done in Kaliforina he definitely would get off as long as he's a celebrity.

Friend........no offense.......but your not fishing......you're cutting bait in my experiences....... ......however, if you're enjoying yourself then that's all that matters...

Mike you have some good tips here and your previous post.....but let me add... I no longer pick up partners unless it really makes sense.....my boat, my truck, my time = meet me at my house... I have 4 rod holders I made out of PVC pipes that are strategically place in my boat and are mounted 100% VERTICAL....when a fish is boated that rod goes in the vertical rod holder to prevent rod breakage AND give you 2 hands to handle the fish on the floor of the boat. You can't step on a rod while there in these holders...
