  1. I have a fishing outdoors card and license. Here's a wrinkle I can't seem to get past. I'm actually supposed to have a small game license, for the season, but can't get one because it's not a hunting card. I said, give me a hunting card. Apparently it can't be done, according to the individual at counter, because I already have a fishing outdoors card. I'll have to look into this further, but for now, my dog is still running anyway. It's ok, when rabbits are out of season, I'm covered by a special training permit. Has anyone had this scenario before?
  2. You'll have to investigate your load demand, before going alternate sources. I can't tell you how much it costs to run a 4 slice toaster, electric oven, dryer, etc.. on alternate sources. Inverters are expensive, batteries only last about 10 years, or less. If you use Propane for everything but the 4 slice toaster, it can be somewhat reasonable.
  3. Both, great songs. I always love to hear "I Love a Rainy Night". Chicken Truck, always reminds me of .
  4. I don't think my reply to Chicken Truck Chicken Truck, just my luck, would make it past tomorrow morning. Hahaha Good one, I actually haven't heard that one in years.
  5. Between this gals singin', the lyrics, and the video (even has a dog in it), I'd have to say it's damn near as good as the David Allen Coe "Perfect Country and Western song"
  6. Well, no more John Prine. Hehehe Tonight I've been going down another old track.

  11. That's a funny program. I really got a kick out of the show that was trying to promote "Kid Free Nieghbourhoods". Taken right off the This is That website: "This Is That is a current affairs program that doesn't just talk about the issues, it fabricates them. Nothing is off limits--politics, business, culture, justice, science, religion--if it is relevant to Canadians, we'll find out the "This" and the "That" of the story. Each week, hosts Pat Kelly and Peter Oldring introduce you to the voices and stories that give this country character in this 100% improvised, satirical send-up of public radio. "
  12. If you have to ask, I'd say; too many hassles.
  13. Thanks, that seems to make sense.
  14. Damn! After three days of reading and listening to all 94 pages, I have only one request; could someone please put an NF somewhere in the title?
  15. So, I'm out of the loop again, exactly how is it that the 2.499 million lakes and rivers became unprotected?
  16. Location, Location, Location! And a Honda Civic is the most stolen car.

  19. Long story kept short, I've been lucky to survive some CO poisoning. It was after the third night in a cabin with a propane fridge.
  20. CO kills ! Odourless. Before playing around, I'd advise getting a second opinion.
  21. I'm sure there's one or two around smewhere. Where, I have no idea. The thing you have to remember, doctors get to bury their mistakes, mechanics have to fix theirs. Judging from what I've seen, on TV, good luck!
  22. I hope this doesn't take away from the positive side of the posts, but I did find it interesting and thought we should all be aware of this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DsJ8IhWO7w&feature=player_embedded
