  1. Had 5 dogs on the ground today, they all started running something, as a pack. The only dog that won't run "off game" (rabbit) came back and milled around. Oh, Oh, the chase was on. It's amazing how fast a person following their dog can cover 100 acres. Hahaha! Suspect it was a deer or a turkey they were tracking. For those that don't know, a cottontail rabbit will run in a, relatively, small circle. Deer will run a long ways. Hahaha. Thanks to Tri-Tronics, she came running up the trail looking for me. Good thing, I was about whipped! Hope you all had a good day on the water.
  2. Sorry, no help from me on fishing, but....... I did drive there one time to see a woman. Long story, hahaha. Any stupid thing I ever did, involved a woman (oh ya and some alcohol). Good luck fishing!
  3. I'm surprised that no-one mentioned, a good pair of polarized sunglasses always helps, in unfamiliar waters. You might be able to see a rock before the fishfinder.
  4. Spent a couple of hours with an "NHL Hall of Fame'r" and he pretty much agrees with ya.
  5. I'd do that for sure! Dodge vs Toyota : Toyota wins every time.
  6. I have a habit of posting on threads that get locked a few posts later. Is 31 pages the longest thread ever, here?
  7. Please get it looked at by a pro. I only say this because i'm reminded of a particular event. http://oxfordreview.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?archive=true&e=1337861 make sure your CO monitor is working.
  8. 8 pages, wow. What's the longest thread in OFC history? I'm guessing 27.
  9. Not so easy to turn off nuclear reactors. Listen to the news lately??
  10. Glad he's doing better. I don't want to end up on "Mod Que", so I'll just leave it at that.
  11. Payne/Carrier same unit, different colours and price, but same unit. I work for the big C and I get employee discounts. I buy Payne. A friend of mine showed me a furnace he had installed at his cottage. He wasn't sure what he bought. The "Apply Logo Here" sticker was still visible. He laughed when I asked what he paid. I said I could probably tell him by the price.
  12. Can't seem to insert media from this Laptop. I've had this song in my head all morning. It doesn't really apply, but the end result is the same. It's an old Roy Clark tune; Thank God and Greyhound She's Gone. I will surely miss her by the end of the week though.
  13. Drove through that crap this morning on the 401, it was actually snowing downtown To at Union Station.
  14. Nipfisher, did I make you nervous? Not sure why, or how, I interpreted that to mean stay. Hahaha
  15. Yes, that's correct. We concidered this and it's hard to get any closer than the the train stop, but the Bus will actually be several feet closer.
  16. First time I met him, we were both living at Laurentian U. (a long time ago) Been a long time since I've seen him, always think of him when I drive up 11 and see his shop. Actually stopped by his brothers shop in New Liskard, last weekend. Wife decided on the Northlander, time's an issue, but the $400 extra to fly only part way (North Bay), makes the train much more palitable. (I'm of Scottish heritage)
  17. Thanks. I'll keep this in the back of my mind. It's always nice to travel and know that you're welcome to stay somewhere, if need be. By any chance, you wouldn't happen to know a Matthews, the one that owns the tranny shop.
  18. I told her to take her own. She didn't see the humour. I'm gonna pay for this.
  19. Place was still there last weekend. Ice was still at the shore. Snowmobiles loading up and heading out. Someone bought all the choclate cookies at Subway.
  20. 4.5 hrs., form Barrie area, I agree. I've made the trip 3 times in the last month. I don't mind the drive, have done it many times in all weather for many years, but I have noticed the lack of trucks, etc. on the road. I swear, no matter what, if the trucks aren't truckin', the economy isn't as good as we are being told.
  21. Here's a webcam Looks like there is still ice out there. Torbay Cottages
  22. Temagami, or grass strip behind Cobalt Truck Stop, or there is always Englehart Airport. Wife needs to get to Cobalt tomorrow. She always said, she would never fly with me and she's stickin' to it. Hahaha This is gonna cost me, somehow, I know. Just thought I'd post, that, she wouldn't ever fly with me, I'm sure she wouldn't go with someone she didn't know (well maybe she would) Hahaha
  23. Lots of laws need changing. For instance: It's illegal to shoot your own vehicle. I won't explain how I know this, long story. Hahahaha I think the party fishing law is OK.
  24. This link is a sample of the type of "internet archives" I was talking about. Wayback Machine If you copy and paste the OFC Community http://, you can see what it looked like years ago. Hahaha Later.
  25. Try searching "internet archives". If you have an idea what website would have hosted such info, you might find it there.
