..... Cat owners have no problem? I own a "Hunting Dog" (Beagle) and take it out for regular "exercise & training". According to the reg's, I can be fined for not having a Hunting License. During the "Off Season" I'm covered under a "Training Permit" which costs virtually nothing. So, why can cat owners let their cat/cats out to roam any time of year and not be fined under the same reg's? My guess would be, they aren't "hunting dogs". hahaha Thought this might be a fun topic. Please keep responses light hearted. Hahaha

I guess (I know) it's who you know, that makes the world work. I happened to post this very same song way back. I got it removed and a Touching Up for posting such a thing. Hahaha Not sure why I checked this thread, or this board today, but it sure gave me a laugh. Hahaha -
Well, here's the reply I got from someone I thought that might know; "Just artistic I think.Nice!"

Just did a trip and here's my results for GPS's. I always take my Garmin and another fellow always takes his TomTom. My garmin showed us on the road the whole time, the Tom Tom usually showed us as off the road, but in the general area. On this trip we had no Cell service for days and days, so the smart phone thingy is not for me. Now where we were was pretty hard to get actually lost, as there was really only one Hwy, if you could call it that. Never been on a Hwy that was all gravel and mud before. Hahaha.

Two days ago I bought this. I pressed salesman for some sort of discount. I was happy with the deal. I still am, but wife is a shopper and came home today saying that Winners has the same BBQ for $249. I am a man and it would never occur to me to go to "Winners" for a BBQ. So, if you are interested, this was in London On.

Well, I came across this video and 3 things came to mind. One, is that mesh keeping something in, or out. Two, ooopps, I should have built the shack two feet wider. Three, where did they steal that wood on the sled from.

Here's the view from the deck, while I ate the fish and chips.

Sept. 2012, this is where I got the best Fish and Chips I've ever had. Loved the Lemans also. Great view from deck. I'm pretty sure there will be some members that know where I was. Hahaha

Sounds to me, like some people are just plain lucky. Hotel renos, the place was probably crap before, etc., etc..

Not sure about your particular setup, but a basement floor drain will have it's own trap (just below the drain). The only way this trap will remain full (evaporation takes place), is if you either have water running across your basement floor and down the drain, or pour it in, or have a trap primer.

So, I'm just walking, but my dog is hunting. Is that the loophole? Hahaha How do you get a small game license? Just so I can go armed with info, next time I show up.

Well, from what I'm readin', I still consider I paid too much. Messed around with a Mazda, lately. Solution was $100 diagnostic, $72/hr labour, $5 bulb. Problem: Airbag Alert light came on. Solution: Replace the burnt out passenger airbag sensor light. So, for that money I got a $5 light bulb and a carwash. Damn! I think that was money well spent! Maybe it's not just pet threads that get me suspended! Hahaha

This here song, sung by John Hiatt ( written by Ian Tyson ). This song is actually, about a modern day ranching outfit. Just google "Alex Carone". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aANvlExuV_E -
"On average, mutts have less medical problems thanks to crossbreeding. Many purebreads are highly inbred and have more heritable problems that can lead to serious medical bills down the road." I agree with this statement. So, check out your blood lines, etc., etc, before you buy. I saw some dogs today that were way over inbred, by my standards, but no problems have showed up yet. I'd take one of them home, in a flash. Oh, by the way, it's pet posts that usually get me suspended. So, I'm done.

Heads up (new to me), you can't just go to any Service Ontario, to get a Hunting Card. I finally took the time to find out why I couldn't get a small game license. Turns out, there are only certain offices allowed to deal with Hunting Cards. I show up at one of them, after a 1/2 hour drive. Guess what, I still don't have a Hunting Card, or Small Game License. Turns out, I need a PAL to get one. Well, that ain't happening. I enquired how I could legally have my dog get it, no real answer. Apparently, since I'm not carrying a firearm (etc.), it's ok if the dog brings a bunny to me. Go figure. I can and do get, a training permit for "off season", so I can't be charged with "Harassing Wildlife". Turns out, once again, I don't fit into the slots that the " powers that be ", provide. Hahaha Well, there's some dollars I was willing to give them, but they won't even take them. Hehehe

You know it, but I was eating Venison chile today, with the guys at the clubhouse. Four guys and six dogs on the ground, great way to spend a Saturday am. People Golf, but I'd rather do this. I can do it yearound. Ontario Association of Beagle Clubs

I'm definitely a Beagle guy. There is a reason, Guelph U uses them for Vet training. Having said that, there are bad dogs in every breed. I would never spend $750-1000 for a cross bred dog. Shasta, have you looked at a Duck Toller? I like beagles, I take mine out quite regular in the bush, but you may need to be ready for lots of time in the bush.

I've had problems, mentally, ice fishing in southern and central Ontario. If I can't drive my truck on the lake/river after the last weekend in April, for an Ice Fishing Tourney, I'm not going.

Knowing what you want and what you need, are two differnt things. Got a 32 gig playbook and I've never looked back. Good camera(I ibought it as a camera to use on a trip), great price, etc., etc..

Thanks, I'll give that a try.
