  1. Nice write up. Welcome to OFC and good luck at the Can/Am!
  2. Thank you for once again sharing a Moosebunk adventure. I have learned through experience that when one of your adventures is posted that it will take more than 10 minutes and that I will probably read through it at least 3 times and stare at the pictures a few dozen more therefore needing at least an hour of quiet time before opening. Thanks again!!
  3. Sorry about that Mike, meant to type medium heavy The leader, well a girl has to hide the fish magnet somewhere LOL
  4. Thank you everyone! It was a great day with great company, always a pleasure to get to spend time with FnS ( ) and Cliff & Sue . Cliff has no worries about me and $20 baits, I usually get a good deal at the local shops LOL Lew's fish would view mine as an appetizer !! Thanks again Lew for the encouragement and words of wisdom. LOL Joey, fish whisperess eh? Thanks again!!
  5. Welcome back to fishing and welcome to OFC. I do not fish for pike often but concur with Mike's suggestion, 7ft Medium. If storage and travel is not an issue, go for a one piece. Line... I prefer 30 lb braid and a leader, I like the slightly larger diameter of the 30 vs 20, doesn't seem to cut into the spool as much.
  6. Saddens me to hear that Tamias has not been returned to you but what a wonderful thing you are doing for Sheba! :clapping:
  7. Sweeeeeet! That is one superb bass......Congrats!!!
  8. Adrianne! Nice fish and from what I hear, a tough lake to catch them in! Does this mean that you will not be quite so happy with pan fish any more?? hehe Congrats!
  9. Glad to hear that you have been getting into a few.....keep the pictures of the pretty fish coming! Oh and to echo ccmt, you can keep the 4ft rollers lol
  10. Welcome to the board BigGuppy. Guessing that you already made a decision, hope you and your son had fun. I am not familiar with the Scarborough area but Frenchmen's Bay in Pickering can be a good place. The Bay has produced nice pike, carp and bass that I know of. Also, any of the East piers should be starting to see the Salmon run.
  11. Congratulations on 19 years! Always enjoy the Jiggy Jiggy reports........great fun. Oh and I love the wine opener
  12. What a great idea Keram! I would definitely bid on those. Name suggestion for the MQ "MQX" aka MQ Extreme
  13. ROFL!!!! :thumbsup_anim: Too funny!! I too thought instantly of the Tutu and wondered why the lure wasn't pink!!! Great looking Lure Keram.......can I order one??? OH and nice bridge Tj..........hahahahahahahaha Now...where is that picture.........
  14. "The fishing is 'relatively' poor when compared to some of the other less accessible lakes in the area, but there are a lot of fish , and decent size fish...." "After that it was non stop on the reef for the next half hour, the time it took for us to get our limits" Uh huh, terrible place to fish, remind me to never ever go there LOL Thanks for the read, enjoyed it and congrats on the day
  15. Nice detailed report Johnny. Please tell your friend congrats on the nice bass she caught Too bad about the winds but as you said, the company was good and lots of laughs.....great way to spend some time

  18. Excellent read and stunning pictures Dan. Brook trout truly are a beautiful fish. Congrats on the big males! Thanks for taking the time to share that with all of us, another demonstration of the C in OFC.
  19. Great reports Mike.....looks like a great time even with the rain and storms!! I can only imagine the laughs in the boat with the kids.....great times!
  20. Congratulations Ryan! Wish you both a lifetime of happiness! Swell wedding gift also...Kudos to Dave
  21. Congratulations! So very happy for you both! Must admit, I am also curious about the sand... Looking forward to the next parts
  22. Gorgeous Tim! Nice to see more of your pictures this year....keep em coming! Looks like there might be an auction for your hot lure soon hehe
  23. I was bitten by a Hobo spider while sleeping one night. Wasn't sure what it was so like you, treated it at home. The bite area continued to grow and the surrounding tissue only got redder, more tender and more swollen. Treatment was heavy antibiotics and thankfully I only have a small scar, could have been much worse.
  24. Running around?? Thought that they dropped in from the sky? Got the news letter...thanks!
  25. Seems as though the fishing has been tough for everyone with all this rain but you managed a few nice walleye anyway, good for you guys!
