Welcome! Nice fish, haven't caught many sheepshead but enjoyed each one. Just returned from a great weekend on the West Arm of Nip....wish I could fish there more often, look forward to reading about your trips.

Hey D, You are not too late. Tent sites are VERY reasonable, call the lodge for availability (Terry posted a link and the number) There is a tourney for Pike..Crayola Cup....Saturday AM (no entry fee if that is why you are asking about money) Prizes etc. Usually everyone brings a donation and usually everyone walks away with something Pot luck on Saturday, bring a dish to pass More than one person has used a canoe for the weekend, they also have very nice cedar rentals. Estimated drive time.....4-4.5 hours from Oshawa As for fish......Pike, Walleye. Musky, Bass and whatever else is swimming around Lake Nipissing Most people aim to be there for the weekend but some will arrive before and/or stay longer.

John, I only have 8 rods total for all types of fishing that I do Shimano Clarus 7ft Heavy/extra fast paired with a pflueger trion GX7 about $160.00 Fenwick HMXS 6'6 Md/fast with another pflueger trion GX7 about $110.00 (did have a 7ft Fen 1 piece that I preferred but it was stolen) Abu Garcia Specialist 6'6 Md with a Diawa Regal 2500-51A. Not sure what the retail on this would be, the rod cost me a Horton's Lg DD and the reel was free Maybe $60 The other 5 ........ One trolling rod and reel ....pd $90-$100 Float setup.......Raven Matrix 12'6 $100.00, used with one of the above pfluegers Carp setup.....Okuma Diezel Combo $40 I have also used this to troll with, casting and surf fishing Ice fishing......CT rod and regular Guide Series reel...maybe $35.00 Last, I have a Zebco baitcast setup that a friend gave me to learn/practice on. Do I qualify as being "still sufficiently in control of our impulses and our faculties to resist the lure of multi-digit priced rods and even more expensive reels"?

I cannot offer any input on how your idea would work but try Gagnon's or Tightlines (in Pickering) for the leader material, they might be able to help you out.

Ok, just to be clear...... The site you are having trouble with is the NFN site........all other sites you have tried seem to be working fine? You have verified that the NFN is not experiencing technical difficulties of their own? The site can be loaded from locations other than your router/house? A possible diagnosis in what I hope are simple terms..... You mentioned having 2 comps at home on a router and neither will load the page. This would suggest that the trouble is on the ISP side of your router. If one would load and the other not, then it might be a computer specific issue like cookies, settings etc.. When you connect to a site, your computer sends info (packets) to that site and the site sends info (packets) back. What you are experiencing might be explained by dropped or lost packets. These packets are sent through routers (referring to your ISP's, not yours) that determine where they go, if the routers are not working correctly the packets are dropped, thus no connection. It is not uncommon for a person to only notice this happening with only one or two sites while other sites appear to be functioning normally, as the average user does not visit enough sites daily to see the full effects. If you answer yes to the above questions, contact your ISP with this. If you use Rogers, this will not be the first time they have had to correct this. I know how frustrating this can be....good luck!!

Much the same out this way. Haven't seen nor heard nearly as many and our catch numbers are way down compared to this time last year. Best of luck when you head out again.
