  2. Does anyone want to go shore fishing tomorrow afternoon? I'm open to any species, or place (preferably within an 1 1/2 hours of richmond hill and has to be shore fishing). PM if interested.
  3. I was thinking something like a nymph under a float but it's probably a little late in the year for that, you could try worms, grasshoppers, or crickets.
  4. My guess is that you probably spooked him. however brown trout are extremely picky so you may have to change it to a more natural presentation. Since I know the creek you fish I would say that stealth is key, try treading very lightly starting about a 100ft from the river.

  11. I caught my first 2 this year in nova scotia, they're really aggressive and even though they were only about 10 inches they fought amazingly well.
  12. I really doubt more than probably 10 people i this whole site have caught a 3lb bass on fly gear, that would be epic though!

  15. You can take a large soda bottle cut off the top, reverse it to make a funnel, bait and weight it and you're done. Ofvcourse they do sell them for like $7.
  16. Heading into papineau on saturday, will have a boat. WE WANT TROUT! I got skunked in algonquin and I'm looking for redemption, I have my rod holder, a trolling rod and a line counter reel now (would dipsys work?), I don't care really what kind of trout it is (brookies would be nice). I've fished the lake for bass but never trout, I really have no clue what I'm doing so can someone give me an idea? Thanks.
