  1. I would also get a crank'n rap in green crawdad, it's caught tons of 3-4lb smallmouth this year!
  2. More than pleased to answer them (I just started worming this year too), weeded areas and fished in heavy structure (like fallen trees) would be the most effective situations. All I can say for the jig making is try to keep it simple, I tried making these at first with a lot of material and realized that they didn't even look that good, so I started just using a couple materials on each one and they look a lot better now. Good luck!
  3. You could try staying at brant and try for some bass and maybe walleye.
  4. The main goal at the end of this was to sell them, so I guess powdered is the way to go. But my concern was that when I go to bake the paint the guards would melt?
  5. Right in the middle of the conservation area this spring I caught a giant cat that broke off when it got to shore, also my first carp. The water is very murky so I would use very dark or very light coloured lures so they stand out.
  6. Yup. Now where is garfisher to answer this?
  7. Looks like you've gotten that bass out of the way!
  8. Yeah, I was thinking of that, you know what kind of paint to use, other than powdered?
  9. Nice skis! that is one heck of a weekend! But how can you be disappointed with that pike, its a monster!
  10. Im most confused about that mouth, I've caught 2 inch largemouth with bigger mouths!
  11. That's actually a smallmouth, nice fish! If you plan a trip to the saugeen, muskoka or simcoe you can get some real pigs.
  12. Colours say largemouth mouth says smallmouth, but definitely bass.
  13. Thanks for the tips, I'm also experimenting with some more patterns, if anyone wants a few shoot me a pm.
  14. I like that one too, if you want I can tie you some jigs?
  15. How long would you suggest I go? Because they are a little hard to tie around.
  16. Alright, today I decided to start tying some bass jigs, these are the results in chronological order They are getting better!
  17. It may not be a musky but cool looking fish!
  18. You're welcome then LOL! Nice looking jacket!
  19. Nice to see it went well, I would've chickened out too!
  20. Nice! I really want to get down there, but at the same time I'm a little scared of what I might find!
