Fishing with the perfect drift guide company was a very helpful, Graham tought me a very important method which was nymphing, take a small float (smallest you can see) and tie on a couple of nymphs and float it all the way down the river, also put on the absolute minimum shot. Use this only in the spring because that is when the steelhead re feeding on small aquatic insects in the fall they feed on eggs.

Be careful which one you go to though, it should be right beside a maple syrup vendor who has a map of the world plotting all of their customers.

My whole family pretty much lives there, there's always something to do, be sure to grab some of the cinnamon rolls from the market. Also, the conestogo has great pike fishing in some areas if you can sneak away.

It is the Maskinonge river, definitely has good panfish fishing, I caught many really nice sized bluegill and a few crappie this spring in an hour session.

Trout looks like it should be really good this weekend with all this rain.

Wrong, upstream of the falls it is zone 19, first Saturday. Also next week will be the second week in June not the third.

Elora trout this weekend, gonna see if I can hit up some skis shore fishing this little inlet on the niagara next weekend. Should be great (first time musky fishing!)

The rules say that all gobies caught must be "disposed of" , and although this may sound unethical could you target them?

Are you fishing from the canoe club? They don't really allow fishing from there, although everyone does.
