im just starting out eating healtier than i have been (coffee truck at work is a killer) ive started bringing a lunch to work so i know whats in it. im hoping to drop about 30 or so lbs. the knees take a beating at my current weight (about 255). doesnt help the asthma much either. good to see everyones progress....kinda kicks my butt into gear

i picked up the plano softsided tackle bag with 4 of the clear plastic snap-close containers...it was on sale for 12.49, 50% off and they had lots of them (burlington location, guelph line) i think im going back tomorrow for another one or two of them! buddy of mine told me there was a bin of spinner baits for 3 or 4 bucks, but i couldnt find them *shrug*

something ive noticed in all the reports with whitefish in them is how they're all bleeding. ive never caught a whitie before, or fished for them for that matter. i was wondering what causes them to bleed like that? is it just something that gets done to fish you're keeping or does it happen to all the fish brought through the ice? is it from being brought in from the depths? my sister took an environmental restoration program at niagara college (i believe). i dont know the prerequisites to get into it. she did it after getting her bachelor of science, biology from york. she works for halton conservation authority now and is outdoors most of the year (weather permitting...mostly)

i wanted to buy a boat this year to get off of the shore finally. well i did that. i got a cheap 12 footer and old 9.5hp for it. the goal for NEXT year... get the boat wet heheheh i only had it out on the water for about 20 minutes to see how it ran, never did get out fishing with it

i think that the carpool lot is gone now with all the construction they've been doing. there is a timmys, gas station and hotel there but i dont know what rules they enforce regarding parking on their property.

im with pigeontroller. i seem to remember posts from earlier this year and the purchase of the boat you're talking about seems you're quite the beginner (dont take it the wrong way...i am too). lake o is a big body of water... even on a good day it can turn on you REAL quickly. a few fish isnt worth risking safety
