  1. I'm with BITEME Bronte boy over here
  2. I've used other gulp products with pretty decent results. Make sure you don't let them dry on the hook, and once you use one don't put it back in the package or you'll ruin the rest of them.
  3. I'd definetely check what ecmilley suggested. We had 2 cars in the shop for that very problem last week.
  4. Princess auto for sure. But be careful!!!! every time I walk in there for one thing, I leave with a truck full of stuff
  5. English, Where does it go when he tosses it down the drain? Isn't that the same as tossing it on the side of the street or something similar?
  6. would the full moon help with the ability to see the bait at all? would that explain it, or its it alot more involved than that? i imagine if you used a dark/bloack lure it would stand out more with the light a full moon provides, no? I actually have no idea, but I was curious about the same sort of thing. i don't get out enough to actually practice half the ideas i have unfortunately
  7. wd = water displacing....nuff said
  8. ahhhhh good ol' midnight madness. it's been yrs since i've attended that. can be a rought time driving around downtown when its on. great to see another little one enjoying getting out. Ryan
  9. if it has an auto trans installing a transmission cooler will help with transmission life. You have to remember that just because the car can get the boat/trailer moving, it doesn't mean it'll stop all that weight. NEVER tow anything weighing more than what the manufacturer has rated the car for. It would be really bad for you to get hurt while driving, but much worse if you hurt someone else because you cant stop quickly enough. just my .02 Ryan
  10. Thanks guys! jediangler, the water was pretty low and there was weeds everywhere. I've only been there once before (late last summer) and the water was lower than it was then.
  11. Got up early and went out to try my luck at Mountsberg resevoir. Got there around 5:30 or so this morning and the water was like glass.... sun just coming up, so I tied on a topwater bait and tried to get my first topwater fish. A few casts later and the water around my lure explodes.... kind of startled me at first... a quick fight and I had my first topwater largemouth, a fish about 12" or so long. Tied on a bubblegum coloured senko (had to try them out after seeing all the talk about them) and started walking and casting. Over the next few hours nailed another 3 largies, all around 10-12" and 2 hammerhandle pike. It started heating up and I decided it was time to leave. No pics since I don't have a digital camera yet. Thanks for reading...hope to have more reports coming!
  12. you can check www.ontariogasprices.com its a user updated site so it may not be exactly current...but it'll give you an idea.
  13. Sorry to hear Bob, Glad you're doin better! Tell Aunt Peg I say hi Ryan
  14. Rick, have you tried replacing your gas cap? if its no good it'll toss that code
  15. Tony, I'm not sure if they do re-finishing, but my parents had Azore's hardwood floors do new flooring in their house last summer. They did a real nice job and the guy at the house was a real nice guy. They are local to Oakville... you see their vans all over town. My parents are getting the rest of the house done this summer by them. Ryan
  16. WOW, that takes me back.... one of my best friends growing up and his family had a trailer there. spent many weekends up there growing up. I remember fishing there a little bit, caught a few bass (smallies i think) if you look through the pictures they have on the site there, it looks like theres a few lakers caught there too I havent been there in.... *gulp* 20 yrs probably (wow...that hurts to even think of) but i think the last time i was there, they had a trout pond as well. let us know how you do there. I may even book a site up there this summer... for old times sake Ryan
  17. I'm pretty sure the show mythbusters looked into that and a few other things to increase mileage. The acetone trick didnt work. The car got WORSE fuel mileage from what I remember. The other things he did will help, but are things that should be done anyways (other than removing the jack/spare of course)
  18. I thought the govt was talking about eliminating expiry dates on gift cards a while back. Anyone hear what happened with that?
  19. I'll second the kodaks. My sister bought one a few yrs ago, it takes very nice pics and is still going strong no problems. Ryan
  20. wow...thanks for the quick replies. I'm pretty sure I'll pick one of them up. Are they available at CT stores...or would I find them somewhere like BPS? Ryan
  21. Has anyone used one of those deer whistles that you put on your car? supposed to help avoid accidents and what not? I plan on driving from Oakville through northern Ontario and out to Calgary around the middle-end of April, and quite obviously would like to do what I can to avoid hitting anything big Other than paying attention and driving properly does anyone here have any tips on avoiding an unfortunate event like that? Also going to avoid driving at dawn/dusk as much as possible. Thanks guys and gals Ryan
  22. heheh, I don't think it matters WHERE you see Nickelback just kidding.... I believe I read that ozzy was going to do all of Ozzfest for free this yr.
  23. I have an older gm built car, a 87 regal and do most of my work myself, parts are DIRT cheap for it, I replaced all 4 shocks and springs, the entire brake system (master, booster, all lines and hoses) everything including wheel bearings and spent maybe 500 bucks in parts :) I love the old stuff
