Yes stoty is right big Jim's buck tails are awesome !!!!! And in any color you want as well !!!they hold up really well too !!!have even caught lake trout on them rippin weeds early in the spring for eyes !!!!!!

Another thing that gets overlooked guys is your fire extinguisher !!!!!!! Make sure the powder inside has not gone hard and make sure the gauge is still saying full !!!!!! They do only have a limited life !!!!!!!!!! I know that not all boats are requires to have one but I have always had in in all my boats .......as well always have a few spare fuses for electronics like graphs livewells and marine radios ....... My best catch was on one of my homemade worm harnesses I caught a small 16inch walleye on the first hook and about a 3 lb pike on the second hook !!!!! The pike was trying to snatch the walleye off the hook and he got hooked himself. As well !!!! I have caught a few boat anchors as well as an old net and my gf caught a rock with a hole in it !!!!!! Yes it's true !!!!! And we both have trolled our lures along the bottom and caught many big fresh water clams ..... She also caught a Canadian flag at the bottom of the Ottawa river and while casting her new lure from the dock I'm about 3feet of water snagged a baby sturgeon by the end of the tail about a 5lb it was not harmed !!!!!! And that's just the ones I can think about. !!!!!!! There is more......

The worst is on your eyelid from a blackfly while you are sleeping in a tent !!!!!!!! The next morning it was like I got hit with a baseball bat !!!!! My eye was swollen shut and a big bruise it was nasty !!!! Took a few days for it to go away !!!!! And the itch was brutal ......

well all three make excellent units its all up to what you have for a budget, ?? but all three also make units that are not high end either so its really a preference,and what your needs are but just a word of advice go whith the best one you can afford,cause you will only want to get an even better one....they have changed lots in the last few years with sidescan downimaging...you name it they have it.....whats your price range??

No I only have one bilge on my boat ...and beside it it's my livewell intake pump !!! Yes it's a pain to get down in there as well . I got the switch for the bilge tested and it's ok might be a bad ground in the fuse block ???

Ya I hear you there iron maker !!! We have all had those moments including my fair share !!!! Well I took it to my dealer to get it fixed I gave up on it so it will be fixed regardless so it's all good thanks

Anyone around in the sturgeon lake area can give me a hand with a wiring issue?? My bilge pump is not working and I have power to switch but seems when I had the timer on my livewell pump replaced they fed into another wire?? I don't have all the testers and stuff myself !! Heck not even sure about that !!!! Lol....and I did find a corroded small broken wire but it doesn't seem to come off the bilge pump ?? An electrician I am not

What kind of equipment are you using ?? Do have leadcore or any dipsey setups??? Even an offshore board and some snap weights ?? If not you are gonna probly wash a lot of lures today ... But the 3way might do it .....good luck troll your spoon for a while then every so often put the boat in neutral let it sink then back in gear and hold on !!! Good luck .....

There is no wrong way to fish a harness !!!! I bottom bounce with them as well as longline them and make all my own I also will use different blades as the Colorado blades run shallowest then the Indiana blades followed by the willow leaf blades !!!! I also use interchangeable clevis so I can change blades on the harness I also run floaters on some to just keep it off the bottom and give it a little buoyancy I prefer mine with 2 hooks but it's a personal preference they are very versatile and I have caught everything on them including lake trout !!!! Muskies like them too as well as pike bass you name it !!!!! And weather it's spring or fall or summer they work and are always my go-to choice !!!!!! You can run minnows on them as well and run them off a planner board too !!! It's endless what you can do with them !!! And when you make your own they are all pretty much one of a kind ....tight-lines.
