There are many trailer parks on the kawarthas if you pick pigeon or buckhorn or chemong you are on the tri-lakes area of the kawarthas and have access to 3 lakes without going through locks !!!!!! My family had one for years at lonesome pine on pigeon I see lots of trailers for sale up here it's a matter of preference on which you choose but this area will give you the most water to fish of the kawarthas and the drive is not too far for you !!!! Good luck !!!!!

Well it's Lew o'clock !!!! And I'm just gassing up the Lund and ready to head out before the rain !!! We did get into some nice walleye keepers for shore lunch got a few 25inch pike and a couple of smallies !!!! It's been a tough fish with many guys not doing all that well !!!! But hey I'm staying at it and hopefully get a few better fish today !!!!! I seen Shane last night on the river again and they got a few as well !!!!!! Tight-lines & good fishing. Shawn

Hey fish burn we have all had those days !!!!! Ya it was a tough fish yesterday !!!! The current is insane and the water temps are 52 degrees and the river is up about 4-5feet !!!!! Crazy we did get a few fish and I managed to see spanky on the river he spotted me and said hi !!!! I don't know how they did ?? So I'm back at it right now and maybe see you guys on the river !!!!! Well my gf and myself are heading up north to the Ottawa river for a few days of walleye fishing and gonna have a few fish fries and relax and do some fishing !!! Then back to work for a week then off fishing again for the month of July !!!! Woo hoo ... Should have a fishing report in a day or 2 !!!!!! Tight-lines & good fishing. Shawn ouiseau rock !!! Jamie when are you going ?? I will be up on the Ontario side of the Ottawa river as well and I do know some spots on the Quebec side and well the fishing is great ...how far do you want to drive ? You don't have to go very far into Quebec to have great fishing and hundreds of lakes and rivers ..... I will dig out my info if you would like and it has lots of choices ?? What about the beauchene reservoir ?? Sposed to e the best smallie fishing anywhere and there's walleyes there too ?? Pm me if you want

Well bass fishing in the Lilly pads somedays it's a battle to pull your top water frog away from the bullfrogs as they will eat leopard frogs in a heartbeat well before I could pull my frog away he jumped on it and ate it !!!! So he got hooked through the bottom lip and was fine !!!!! Even after I unhooked him a few mins later he was chasing my frog again .... Had to move on ...lots of big bullfrogs this year !!!!!

Hope this info helps he has won awards and stuff too he has guys bring antique boats from New York State and all over from muskoka too so he knows his stuff ... and no I'm not related or get a cut or anything

Well 20mins from Peterbourough and about 5mins from where I live on sturgeon lake there is a guy called. Ship N shore and he restores old custom boats and sews seats and custom made boat covers for antique boats and everything he does awesome work and has done my covers on both my boats .... Very recomended anyways just a heads up as u said Peterbourough area and he's not 20mins away ....

Well the last few days of bass fishing and even opening day I did see a few smaller like 1-2lb bass on their beds !!! Probly males guarding the fry but I did see tons of old beds so it looks like most are all done !!!! The carp are spawning big time splashing all around and stirring up the bays where I was trying to fish !!!!! Spookin all the bass ....but the decent bass that I have caught looked like they were all done and a few still had rub marks on their tails !!!!! The bluegills and panfish are all on their beds as well ..... It was a later spawn thei year for sure .... And lots of frogs along the shoreline so they are eating well .....
