Well out of those units you mentioned the eagle,which is lowrance anyway the fish-easy is a good unit and has alot more options,and for the price is a very good unit lots of power,and perfect for the smaller kawartha type lakes its great ,and if it ever dies or you have any probs,the lowrance head office is in missisauga ontario,and they are very easy to deal with so i have never owned anything other than eagle and lowrance,and speak with experience,so trust me go with the fish-easy great unit....good-luck cheers

Well gerritt my $20.000 lund is $265.00 a year for insurance,so you are ok i think,my company also wanted to know some things like that as well,if you combine your car and home as well you even get a better deal,i have had all my boats for the last 15yrs insured with liberty mutual,now called TD home & auto insurance.....they have always had the best rate for whatever the reason,so try them you never know,just trying to help bud good-luck cheers

Well lew i hear ya.. ....it pisses me off as well,and thats one reason i dont fish the kawartha lakes on the weekends,every idiot and guys with sea-doos,are out there trying to impress me grrrrrrrrrr.. ..thats why i dont mind driving a little farther north to get away from these idiots,but yes they are like rabbitts and are breeding very fast and multiplying.......we need slingshots ya that would slow them down.. ....oh ya and dont think that the great lakes are much differnt,we have huge sailboats that come from nowhere and cut right in front or behind you while you are running 10colors of leadcore or copper running 500-600ft behind you,they dont care and always think they have the right away when they dam well dont...see they are everywhere......

Great simcoe smallie report !!!!!! well you guys got some nice fish for sure,and too bad about the followers,they can alot of the times be bigger than the one on your hook,as they are smarter & more cautius....thats one sweet bass boat as well,nice pics too...thanks for sharing,man those simcoe pigs are getting bigger all the time,they say a record smallie will come from there before to long,just a matter of time.....cheers

YES it works !!!!!!! they have it at gagnons sports in oshawa,leeches,smelt,shinners,frogs, the stuff looks so real its amazing ,and from all the pre-hype and the few people that have used it says it works better than the real thing, and that all the gulps stay on the hook alot longer i was checking them out today,and i wish that i had all of them for myself,cant wait till i can show some walleyes these great new tubs of gulp minnows.......fish-on.....cheers

Well i wouldnt mind one bit if they made everyone take the test over again,or do random stops and quizes or something cause,there are still just as many idiots out there as ever.....and man if they cant drive a car very good what in the heck makes them think they can drive a boat...lol..lol

well you wont believe it but...here it goes.....WD-40....and yes it works,the base of wd-40 is supposed to be fish-oil,go figure. ..lol..lol we have sprayed it on salmon lures and we have caught fish on it it does work,also oil of anise cheers

Yes its a huge pike for sure. ...too bad it wasnt me who caught that huge monster....its a fish of a lifetime,and it has been around for about 3 yrs or so,it pops up here every so often.....but it is a great pic for sure...cheers
