Very n ice report & great fish & scenery pics.. .it looks like a great place to fish...man i cant believe i have driven by that park about 100 times and i have never fished it...prob because i have always had a boat on my trailer hitch that has a motor on it...lol..lol now i know what it looks like i might just hit er up next summer on the way by....thanks for sharing cheers

Well like glen said LAKE ONTARIO NIAGRA RIVER.... is without a doubt the best fishing in north america, and guess what its right on your doorstep.....oh well i guess some people know the rest,just fish everywhere else glen...lol..lol.. well i remember when the kawartha lakes like pigeon would produce 50 walleye in a day...of course that was when there was only 100 cottages on the lakes too.....i just drive farther north all the time and there is still amazing fishing up there and its great cause pepople wont go that far...and im only talking about 3-4 hrs away....i will spen the extra 20 bucks in gas and acually catch 15-25 walleyes in a day,as to stay close and fish the kawarthas and have every idiot in the world out there ...and hardly any fish....it depends what and how far you are willing to go to have decent fishing right....cheers

Right on !!!!!!!! you have your boat rigged out very nice,and by looking at those fish,i would say it works very good....and you sure can go where other types of boats cant,like small rivers & lakes....that would be a blast in alqonquain park thats for sure.....great idea...cheers

Great report & pics,that seemed like a very nice week long holiday ,and by the looks of things the fishing was quite good,those muskies are a nice size,and have nice colors as do those tasty walleyes too,sounds like a great place to be with freinds and of course your family,and hey dad you better watch soon she will be taking you to her fishing spots while she will be driving the boat...lol..lol..my little 5yr old girl loves to sit between my legs and drive the boat as well....we will have some compitition real soon....lol..lol cheers

Nice catch !!!!!!! and beutifull,size salmon too, it always amazes people who have never caught a big salmon,they are usually hooked for good after that,cause they fight better than anything ever,they put muskies to shame too,its rated number 2 in all of north america,even higher rating than most spots in BC,its hard to believe....well nice report and thanks for sharing...love those kings too....cheers

Yes joey i know what you mean.. ..as i fish lake o...about 60 times per season i have seen and been in some rel nasty stuff....you should see lady o....when she gets mad....what you were in was nothing we have been out about 12miles when she decided to blow,so i have been in it all...you have to respect her or she will kill you. ...you did the right thing,when you feel uncomfortable its best to pull the chute for sure...oh ya is that lure a michigan stinger,NBK spoon...i have been using them for about 5yrs now,also get the same but with a copper color back instead of a silver back,and use the copper on dull or overcast days and the other in sun....cheers

Channel cats also like anchovies,and they stay on your hook so you can sometimes catch a few on 1 bait. ...the list is endless for bait for cats so just try different things and you will be suprised on what they will hit on...good-luck cheers

WOW!!!!!! great report,and pics,they are very nice sized fish,man it makes me want to go walleye fishing right now, too bad about not making it in time to the weigh in station,man you should have been watching the time especially when you know it might be a money fish....oh well better luck next time jen....you guys still caught lots of huge walleyes for sure....great fishing/camping trip....cheers

Yes just common yellow grub,i have even seen them in very clear deep clean lakes in quebec,and even some in alqonquin park,they are harmless,just pick them out and you are good to go,....no problem

WOW....Right on bud !!!!!!!!! im glad that you are doing so well on your new boat and making alot of anglers,very happy. ....very impressive walleyes for sure,and i see you do lake ontario as well....you are a busy man...keep up the hard work things are going great....and yes the salmon are getting bigger....im still waiting for a fish to get me on the board for the great ontario salmon derby...we did so well in june hell i even got a 30lbr ,i sure would like to have that fish right now?????? story of my life. .....cheers
