Yes there is big gar in the ottawa i have never caught one but have seen them cruisng around, they average about 5-10lbs...really a scrappy fighting fish they go nuts and jump,like a big smallie...i have also see them jumping too....cheers oh ya they are a tough fish to catch as you can see their teeth

Well this is getting out of control now,and someone will get killed before this gets stopped...I THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE UNDERCOVER OFFICERS POSING AS FISHERMEN....that will stop it,and it would sure get the point across...there is alot of attention on this now,media coverage and everything so something is going to happen i just have this feeling.....i know for a fact there is alot of resentment to these asian fisherman,but as long as everybody followes the rules i dont think this would happen anymore....ignorance of the law is no excuse !!!!!! i wish everyone could just get along

I have 40hp 4 stroke on my 626lb lund, and i had to put a trolling plate on the motor,well man that works great and doesnt affect any performance or things like that,how ever it does affect the steering a little bit but its manageable for sure...oh ya mine is a tiller ....its always better to get a little more HP...as long as you dont go over what the boat is rated for,by the time you get all your gear and a buddy or 2 plus a windy day....you will be glad to have the little bit extra....they make several types of trolling plates as well for 50 and up and 40 and lower....cheers

Well the price may be ok,and within its range...but i will let you in on a big secret. ..i sold my v-149 widebody legend last year,and i will tell you why...its a nice wide boat ,lots of room but because of that it takes away from the DEEP-V...IT IS A VERY ROUGH RIDING BOAT...because the hull is basicly flat for most of the boat ,i didnt notice that when i bought the boat new...but it didnt take long to find out the hard way,so dont let me try to discourage you from buying it but i would like you to know this....i fish on lots of different waters and including the great lakes...so i need a good deep-v hull for those applications....but if you are going to stay on small waters you will prob be ok....so good-luck,and happy fishing

Well it looks amazing....BUT...the price seems a little low...that package brand new was over 20 grand...its not that old,and would prob go for more money,has it been sunk,was it a repo,does it leak...man for that price i would be driving right now to see that boat in the water and see for myself,i own a lund as well,and i have been on e-bay for along time ....and it just doesnt add up....sorry thats just me...i hope its not what im thinking...good-luck

yes it will stay clipped you have to use the right one,but we use leadcore for salmon & walleyes all the time and its ok,you can rig it a few ways so it wont come off,just make sure it wont rip...we have run up to 7 colors and i know guys have run 10 so you will be ok.....cheers & good-luck
