Hey everyone i just heard on the 6 o"clock news that a fisherman died at the bronte pier this afternoon,of a suspected heart attack, and then falls into the water,while people are trying to save him.. ...are you ready!!!!! and some idiot cast to his rod in the water....snags it reels it in and takes off running with his equipment & tackle and gear. ......THANKFULLY A 24YR OLD MAN WAS ARRESTED FOR THAT CRIME,THEY GOT HIM.....thanks to the police...man im furious,to think that he calls himself a fisherman....just what we need another reason for people to give us a hard time about things....i cant believe it....poor guy dies and his stuff is stolen. ...i hope they throw the god-dam book at him....they did not release his name yet...I HOPE HE IS NOT ONE OF OUR MEMBERS....be safe out there oh ya it was on the channel 8 news CTV at 6pm tonight

Well even though the water is at an all time low the tribs east of the GTA have salmon in them ganaraska,the wilmot & bommanville,as well as oshawa creek.. .i dont know why they are not up where you guys were i saw a few people fishing this morning and they were draging about a 20lb chinny up the sidewalk,a block from the creek.....so check them out there is fish here. ...cheers

Well to answer those questions...they will be around for a few weeks yet,then depending on temps & rainfall. ..the browns will be there as well...starting around thanksgiving, that was always our best times to hit them along the shoreline....then right up till freeze up...the rainbows will be there,all through november. ..so you still have 2 months of fishing yet on the piers and breakwalls....good-luck and tight lines

Thats to bad man i feel your pain !!!!!!! i had a brand new 2000 16ft tracker and after it was in the water for the first 6hrs,the paint on the sides of the boat was floating on the water....anyway long story short,it went back to missouri,to the factory 4 months later i got it back,and guess what it sat outside without the cover on it,the whole time,it was bleached,and faded...all they did was patch up the paint....well it needed to be acid washed,and cleaned then repainted that step was missed during the making of the boat...well I GOT IT BACK PUT IT IN THE WATER AND GUESS WHAT IT DID IT AGAIN...THEY DIDNT ETCH THE ALUMINUM....ANYWAY AFTER ALMOST SUING THEM I SOLD IT BACK TO THEM....i was so mad...it cost me alot in phone calls,paperwork.....so i will never deal with them again....so i know how you feel,let me know how you make out ..AND I HOPE NOBODY GOES TO THAT PLACE WHERE YOU TOOK YOUR BOAT,I KNOW I WONT BE.... cheers

yes sir head to picton area...and run planer boards,or bounce for them,out of napenee,head down long reach near quick-short rd,south of where the power lines are...and troll or drift those couple of shoals...walleye minnows,shad raps,and some leeches for dragging the shoals...trust me you will get fish...good luck, cheers

Yes joey,its the fog rolling down the lake toward us,it was spooky,and ten mins later we couldnt see 10ft...but it kept the fish biting for a couple of hours,cause it blocked the sun till about 9am...it was so cool....

Well on monday i headed to my buds place on sturgeon lake for some walleye fishing ,and maybe a big muskie....well the lake didnt dissapoint....we hit the lake about 5:00am mon morn,and we started at a few fav,shoals for some walleyes,well we were on fire,by 9:am we had 7 fish,they were all sizes from 12inchers to one fish my bud got at 5lbs.28 inches...very nice fish indeed....well we hit several areas of the lake and also caught lots of smallies,and a few big perch as a bonus....monday night was even better after a big fish-fry we were at it again,and caught i think...9more all between 1-2.5lbs....most fish were all caught trolling weedlines,around shoals and drop-offs....we also found a few new spots with lots of gravel & rocks and we hit a few more,and today while we were trolling our new shoal....BANG...what a thumping hit....and just what i thought a real nice battle with a muskie began....and i acually landed it with 8lb test no leader and a bottom-bouncer,with a worm harness.....so after a few quick pics...she was on her way..we got a few more fish and called it a day,we maybe seen 10 boats in 2 days it was great....so enjoy the pics,my bud ernie will post some more when he gets to post them...all in all we think we got around 20 walleyes & dozen smallies,1 musky,a few perch....the ski was 36.5inches, 12lbs.....cheers LOTS OF PICS FISH & SCENERY & BOAT
