Looks great brian !!! put a few of them trebles on your challenger bait for the bay of quinte man,im sure the walleyes will be quite willing to co-operate !!!! many guys swear by using dressed trebles on their crankbaits,well look at the rapala x-raps,they have dressed hooks and we all know that they work amazing !!! cheers bud

I love maps too,have probly 50 or more of them for lakes all over southern & central ontario,and i have had some for well over 20yrs !!!! when we had to do it old school long before the days of GPS !!!! i still like looking at them,and still once & a while find new spots using them & studying themi have a few in frames,like my government charts of the upper ottawa river & haliburton region showing all the lakes & canoe routes !!!! i think if you lightly use an iron & waxed paper you can get most of the creases out and it puts a protective coating on it to protect it !!! thanks for sharing....cheers

Yes i am looking forward to seeing one myself !!! the people at lowrance said its totally more advanced than anything on the market right now,and you can even have google earth,as an overlay with the navionics displayed at the same time,its awesome,and im sure they put alot of r& d into it,so much so they said that all other unit models are being phased out in a year or 2 except the ice fishing units,they say it will be years before anyone catches up,that being the competition that is !!!! i wasnt sure if they had all the prices all figured out yet,but i guess the do,i hear the 12inch models will be around $3,000 and maybe more !!!!

Yes percher is right !!!! after seeing that terrova autopilot in action for 3 days,and with rough water & wind,and 3 guys in the boat,that motor kept us on course for over 3 hrs !!! and never even touched the kicker or the electric !!!! and yes i now have one to install in a month or 2 when my lund comes out from her winter sleep....it will CHANGE THE WAY YOU FISH FOR SURE !!!! percher & myself both are big time trollers for eyes & kings,so it will be almost like having a another guy in the boat helping you control the boat ....good choice bud ...cheers

Looked like a great fishing trip simon !!!! despite that -30 weather everyone had fun got together for a nice trip in some very scenic lakes !!! too bad about the fish not wanting to come out & play though,oh well better luck next time,you usually do well,so im sure we will be seeing another ice fishing report from you reel soon !!!! thanks for sharing....cheers

My setup is just like yours gerritt !!!! and they only suggest the 2 inch ball for big large 12 inch units or laptop computers,they make every mount for everything you can imagine !!!! my unit weighs about 5lbs,and it will stay in whatever position i put it in,period !!! weather the boat is in rough water or trailering down the hiway !!! like i said check their website,they will ship it right to you,bass pro carries a selection of ram mounts as well cheers

Hey emil the ram mounts & all their products are just amazing,and for the graphs you are describing a 1inch ball mount will be perfect i have a 339lowrance/gps mounted and a seperate GPS mounted on a 1 inch ball for 2 years,and they work great,they have many choices,if you go to their website,you can see all that they have i think its 38 pages or different mounts,they also have rod holders,that will swivel to a million different positions,i am looking into getting a few of them !!! they grip & hold very strong,and they do NOT slip,and move around at all !!! i think its www.r a m products.com cheers
