    Sounds about right. The guy has a massive ego so it makes sense he'd enjoy shutting down the other teams top players. I'm really happy with his role on the team. Every team needs a few guys like that. Its a good spot for him on a good contract. Way to go Babcock!!

    I'll add a bit of fish porn In Nick's hut with his power heater. I felt guilty to be honest, this is the most comfortable I have ever been ice fishing. The missus likes selfies so I decided to send her one of us out on the ice. A bit of dinner/snack. Nick would like you to know most of these are his. But I did land 1 crappie and a couple of perch.

    A lot of it was slush. (I wasn't there for the day of these photos but Nick and I went out Sunday) was glad we both had float suits, spud bars and lots of rope.

    I'd take a bet on this. If it increases interest and thus revenue, you'd be surprised what is used as a bargaining chip for the next CBA. They will never do regular season OT continuous until someone scores a goal (which I would love) but I can really see this happening soon.

    I thought ice fishing in ontario was cold. In Edmonton we had 4 people in the hut, plus the heater on full blast and we were still freezing.

    100% hot goaltenders. In OT Auston Matthews had a shot that was top left corner. 99 times out of 100 it would have been a goal. Have no idea how Smith got a blocker on it. Wasn't even his glove side!!! Also, is it just me or is 3 on 3 the most entertaining thing in sports? Lets get rid of the shootout, make 3 on 3 for 10 minutes and bring back ties. While we are at it, lets make the all star game 3 on 3. Was loving OT last night.

    Keep an eye on Hauge and Foote. Looks like one of these two will be who the leafs are gunning for. There is a stud from the Swedish elite league. But he is projected to go 2nd overall.

      I know a few back lakes that tend to avoid the wind. Long as they started locking they should have 5+ inches by the weekend.

    In terms of defense I'm good with Pilar in center. I have no problem with that. Upton made a lot of bad plays last year and Pompey is not the player everyone thought he was going to be. I'm all for a defensive minded team, but when they end up hitting a combined .220 with about a dozen homeruns and a sub .300 on base percentage we are screwed. Right now all of our Offence is going to come from Donaldson and, if we are lucky maybe Morales.

      I found ice, but lots of snow cover. A fresh foot of it. Was not prepared to check it out as I was hopeing to river fish. I guess I could of used my butt handle of my CTS to step and chip,,,,,,,,,,,,,, NOT.

    For me, my first baseman has to generate offence. Hit, steal bases, have power, walk lots. I feel like a defensive first baseman will always be a secondary need. With Smoak hitting sub .250 I could care less how well he can cover the bag.
