I'm the same. I'd never catch Lake Trout, Burbot or Whitefish if we didn't have frozen winters in Canada. All the change in temp means is its time to start targeting another species. Works out well too. November 5th I start thinking about ice fishing. Begining to end of April I have had my fill and can't wait to break out the long rods. Wouldn't trade where I live for the world to be honest.

Considering every time one of us mentioned the leafs had a good game/shift/stint you and only you are the one to mention 'Start planning the parade route' I'd say Troll fits perfectly. I haven't been hopefully that the leafs would have a shot at winning the cup in 13 years. Last time I thought they had a shot, McCabe and Leetch were on their blue line.

it's a sad day. Agree with the ban for life, and extra fines if caught bringing fishing or angling gear into the country. Really enforce that. 33 walleye over the limit is waaaaaay too many.

You know you're a sens fan grasping at straws when the leafs have gone 8-1-1 in their last 10, they lose one bad one and it's all you have to talk about. Oh no! The leafs aren't going to go 82-0 in a rebuild year! Whatever will we do?

Wynn has really screwed it up. I know of so many die hard Liberals that are saying they will vote conservative for the first time ever next Provincial election. I think we are all starting to agree that the ban hammer needs to be dropped on spending.

I actually don't have a problem with that. When you are under someones roof you abide by their rules. Hut opporators have to make a living too. They put their huts on good holes to drum up business. If someone cleans the hole out, its going to make it tough on repeat business. When I was working in Ear Falls (there is a name drop) I stayed on a lodge at Bluffy lake. One of the best guys I have ever met in my life, Keith ran the lodge and had 3 simple rules. 1) What happens at Bluffy Lake stays at Bluffy Lake. 2) Don't keep any walleye between 19-26 inches. 3) Don't fish off the dock. (they had a pet pike). The last two rules had nothing to do with legislation and law. It was a respect thing. And don't ask about Rule 1. I'll never tell.

Thats ok. Its hard to get upset about a playoff loss when you end up finishing in 9th like the sens will. Also, ever wonder why they are no pics like that when the sens lost in 6 to Anaheim? Probably because no one cared.

Hahaha that's good. We used to get pike T boning walleye all the time. Would hook into a small little 8-10 incher, would get it 4 feet from the boat and the fish started fighting like it gained 10 pounds. Most of the time the walleye was in the pikes jaw when we brought it up. Pike would go green and spit the walleye out. Before I knew it was illegal we used to get pike off the dock of the french all the time. Hook a 4 inch perch through the dorsal and hang it on 3 feet under a bobber. Hang out on the dock until the bobber goes under and dinner is on.

They were saying on the radio, realistically its only a one year deal. If Jose has a good year he'll decline the option. If he has a bad year, the Jays will decline the option. But it'll be fun to watch him swing the bat for Toronto once more.

You guys wouldn't believe who view these forums and for what type of information. Back when the Salmon Weir was in Duffins creek, it was someones job to check forums like this regularly to see what public perception was of these things, and to see if there were any leads as to who kept sabotaging them. And that's all I'll say about that.

I used to do through the dorsal all the time. Recently though I've seen Chris K clobbering it while hooking through the lips. I've been trying recently. I think there is an art to it. Must come from the dexterity he gained tying all of those flies.
