Holy smokes bud. Heck of a report. I am am loving the lake in South Carolina. Think i’m Going to have to add it to my bucket list.

Almost forgot. One more good one from off the dock.

Not sure if this is going to format the way I want (first time uploading multiple photos. So, I hate spring...... not really, but it’s when my work is busiest. Between getting full time and a raise, I can’t really take any time off for fishing so this is usually my longest drought and the itch was getting bad. I finally got a day off and decided nothing was going to stop me from fishing. Channeling my inner Brian B I got up at 3am to head out. I had always wanted to fish Canal lake, got there and the bridge/boat launch was closed. Well scratch that. Fished another lake that was close by and had a bit of success. (Pic 1) Fiahed until noon then headed up to the cottage. Between my mom and I at my favourite spot, the fishing was consistent all weekend. (Pics 2 thru 6) I had the most success with Senkos. Mom was using crayfish coloured cranks. We headed back on the long weekend, figuring for sure that it was too hot for fishing. The fish were biting pretty consistent in the morning (pics 7-9) my fiancée came out for the night fishing (she refuses to get up early on days off). 5 minutes into getting to the spot, she gets a bite. As she is reeling in, I get a hit. I legit can’t remember the last time i’ve had a double header (pic 10) I wanted to get one more ‘cute’ pic for my Facebook profile (us millennial do that kinda thing) so I go to kiss my fiancée while we are holding the fish. Needless to say the fish did not approve (pic 11) back Into the water the go. All fish were released to fight another day and the itch was scratched. At least for a little bit.

The dam is still a mess. I have no idea what they are doing. Let me know when you are free late September, early October, my cousin and I do fall fishing up there. Bass are hard to find but walleye and Muskie are usually pretty active. Looks like I have about a year before we start trying for a baby. Wedding date is May 25 2019.

You've been real quite since Saturday. Man, the future is so bright I need sunglasses. Matt Cauz mentioned this morning there were 9 centres that had back to back 30 goal seasons in the NHL, and the leafs have 33% of them.

Worked out well for us at the cottage as well. All fish were caught half an hour before sunrise and half an hour after sunset. Think we ended up with 10 pretty good bass in total. (And think my mom hooked and lost a snapping turtle. XD XD) also lets see if the pic works of me and the wife with the double header.

A good weekend to find lakes that motor boats and the general public can't access. Man do I love owning a kayak. Agreed though, big water and boat launches are going to be very very busy.

Wow. Beautiful fish. I love lakes like that. The bugs are totally worth it.

Its been an odd summer so far. No fish in the morning, then hit a hot spot and land 13 in an hour or two, then not even a bite the next day in the same spot. I can't figure it out. Hopefully its just a phase for now. Glad you got into a few of them.

When I used to work up in Thunder Bay we would constantly be sharing the boat launch with members of the public. I remember we were pulling in for the day once and a bunch of guys are standing around their boat on the pavement about a foot away from the water with their trailer about 6 feet in front of it. They thought for sure that they could untie to boat, gun the truck and the boat would just slide back into the water. After laughing for a bit we took about 6 of us and helped them bring the boat out to the water. Last laugh was on me though. It was a long day and they were talking about how Speckled Trout were their favourite. I said 'yeah. Those are good. But I'd still rather eat brook trout.' To which I had a bunch of people with puzzled looks staring at me.

Buffalo gets first. Then Carolina. Montreal will try to draft Galchenyuk again at 3rd despite the fact he already plays for the team and wants out. Colorado drafts 4th. XD XD

Boy I sure do hope Colorado enjoys their 4th overall pick. XD XD be interesting to see Dahlin play for the Habs or Sabers. I hope Carolina doesn’t get him.

They broke this down on leafs lunch. With one quick dumb lunge, Zeitzev turned what would have been a low probability chance of a goal into a tap in for Marchant. Its been the hig big difference in the series. Boston has capitalized on the leafs mistakes.

Just sucks, the series back in 2014 against the Bruins was entertaining, the series last year against Washington was entertaining. I've been finding this series more frustrating then anything. Last 2 games have been watchable but it won't be going to 7. I love the leafs but realistically this ends in 5.

I think it was the ‘yellow bucket’ comment that is derogatory. If white bucket is racist someone needs to fill me in on that one. My buckets are usually orange....... unless i’m Taking my own ‘black crappie’ in one.
