I wouldn't buy a subdivision home.......even if I built it myself. After 12 years of building custom homes, going to a subdivision was enough to get me to rethink my trade!! Some of the stuff guys will do blow my mind. I couldn't walk away from a job doing the work they do. What we need are carpenters that are required to be licensed. That would get rid of a lot of weekend warriors out there, who think they can build a house!!! Those guys should stick to thier sheds and decks!!!! Any joe blow off the street can be a carpenter these days, its brutal!!! Every other trade requires a licensed trades man to do the work.......anyone can be a carpenter! Sinker

I've gone thru several, but this one keeps on going. I even dropped it down the hole on simcoe in 65FOW and managed to get her back!! LOL Sinker

Oh man, I know how you feel..........well.....not really. I still have the same scoop I bought when I was 13. She's had a few bumps and bruises, but still comes on every trip Sinker

Looks good, now all you need is a cover for the power head. It's gonna take a beating behind that machine. Don't be surprised if you get to your spot, and the auger is a block of ice! Been there, done that, and it sucked!! You need a portable, with a good cover to haul that auger around! Sinker

When its slushy like that, the best thing to do is pack the snow down, not remove it. If you pack it, the water will soak the snow, and then freeze, making a nice base for your hut. Snowshoes are great for doing this too!!! And they'll keep your feet out of the slush! Did I mention I hate slush?? Good going getting the kids out, I'm sure they had a blast!! Sinker
