I run seafoam in every tank. Its good stuff. I just add a shot when i fill up. I'm running a 2 stroke 40 Mariner, and I only use merc oil in it. My boat is run at least once a week, usually more. The gas doesn't sit around long, but I still like the "insurance" of adding the seafoam. I haven't heard one bad thing about it, and it can't hurt! Sinker

I'm also a converted bird user. I'd never go back. All those extras on the bird are just more crap to confuse you, and you won't use half of them for normal fishing. Lowrance has it covered. Lowrance all the way!! Sinker

That would be my guess as well. I wouldn't have driven over that spot to start with. I'd be driving parallel to that crack, looking for a safer spot to cross. I'd say 99% of vehicles thru the ice are in a crack that could have been crossed in a much safer area. I see guys out there doing 60-80km/h.........what do they do when they come to a bad spot?? Hope for good luck?? I never understood that. Taker slow, and watch where your going. And fer gawd's sakes, don't drive over anything that looks "different". Sinker

Yep, we've been out a few times I wasn't about to pack up and leave after an hour on this lake. The walk in is quite a hike for the kids. The walk out was the killer though!!! Lots of food, drinks, snacks, games........frisbee......and a nice fire always goes over well!! My buddies clam scout was a great fort too Its amazing what they'll do to pass the time! Sinker
