Trim up....bow up Trim down....bow down S.

I snuck out for an evening troll on rice tonight after work. My GF and I put 5 eyes in the boat....tough night S.

I've seen one too. No doubt in my mind whatsoever. It is however, odd that there aren't more pics on trail cams of these animals. Even the one in the video seemed to notice the camera starting up and bolted. Pretty sneaky animal. You can't mistake that tail though. S.

Day trips for me, not sure where, but its gonna be musky, musky, musky S.

I really can't see that making too much difference. I dunno, I can load 10 doz duck decoys and 3 guys in my boat and still get on plane, but that's just my rig. My engine is the max HP for my hull, 40hp. I bet you just have too much weight to the stern when you have the extra people aboard, simply because they are now sitting where the new deck ends, instead of being spaced out more towards the bow. I would think you should hav plenty of power to get on plane with a 14fter with a 20hp engine. S.

Mine is set in the middle. S.

Yep, dont forget the bucket!! Most important part of the kit when my young lad was that age. A bucket with minnows (or panfish), a box of worms/leeches, a small net for catching critters, and a few snacks and drinks....good for a few hours no problem. The hardest part for my kids was when it was time to leave S.

I still think the point was that people in general are losing touch with their roots. Nobody said anything about anyone being more superior. S.

Finally had a chance to read this whole report. Incredible. That is all. Oh, and Im a little jealous lol S. -
maybe not everyone, but a lot more than there used to be. I think the point is that people in general are losing touch with nature, and what it provides. I work at an outdoor education center, and I see kids every week who have never set foot out of the city. I bet it would shock you to see what some of these kids are missing out on. S.

I dont know aanything about that engine, but I know mine reqires a special tool to get it all apart. Im not much help, I know. S.

Thats great mileage for a full size truck with a load. Im seriously considering this truck, but im not going to pull the trigger just yet. S.

Atta boy Mike! S.

I still get it, but even more with hunting. Seems like a bad day of fishing makes me really crave to get back out to figure out what went wrong. You never stop learning. S.

Mount the tracks on pedestals on the two rear "platforms" in each corner. You don't need long tracks for the riggers. Then mount your rod holders to the rails with another set of tracks, or trees etc. Soooo many options. If its just the riggers your worried about, mount them in the back corners on pedestals off the tracks(which are mounted to the rear "platforms) and your good to go. Or mount the tracks on pedestals, and riggers to that. The custom rails they make are sweet too. That way when your not riggin', you can take the whole set up off the boat....riggers, rodholders etc all in one shot. Too many options to list really. S.

Go with the tracks. S.

Show us a photo of your boat layout and we could be a little more helpful. There are lots of ways to set it up nice with tracks, but need to see the layout first. S.

Nice buddy!!
-
I would try what fisherman suggested first. Trim up = bow up Trim down = bow down If that doesnt help, get your buddy sitting closer to the bow and see if it will plane out. A 14fter with a 20 should hop up on plane no problem at all. S.

Sorry to hear that Lew. Thats a bad S bend there. The road is so rolly with hills, and the passing lanes are short, it happens a lot. S.

What kills me is any joe schhmoe with an M license can go buy a bike that does 0-200 in 3 seconds. You think they're not going to ride fast? I know I would, and thats why I dont ride a bike. Cliff, 35 has to be one of the worste roads going. Ive seen more head ons between pontypool and lindsay than aanywhere else. The stupid part is, when you get to lindsay and hit the red light, the idiot that just risked his life and a bunch of others is right there stopped at the same light. I used to be a very aggressive driver. Fast cars, bikes, you name it, but these days there are just too many bad drivers to risk my life having a bit of fun. My daughter is driving now. I tell her to watch for the idiots every time she gets behind the wheel. My parents told me to drive safe....why is that? People are only getting worse. S.
