  1. Nice shootin!! I was fishing up by your neck of the woods last night. Too windy to hear shots, but seen quite a few geese. It was kind of a fishing/goose scouting trip. Glad ya got a few. We ended up with a 23" walleye, and 33" musky. Lost 2 other fish too. Just trolling musky. S.
  2. Nice work boys! The eyes havent really stopped since opener. I think ive caught more this year than ever, and yeah, good size to them too! S.
  3. Damn, the girls are getting big dude! Looks like good times! S.
  4. Great report simon. S.
  5. The epoxy used as a sealer, then vinyl. S.
  6. I'm with ya there. I don't owe anything to anyone right now, and I've never been one to buy a brand new vehicle either, but that new dodge diesel is just what I need. Im hoping to get thru the winter, then put my order in for one.....I might not be able to hold out that long! lol S.
  7. Do wood with vinyl. Scrap the carpet idea. I screwed my floor in with stainless screws and they haven't budged. They are much easier to install than the rivets, just make sure you don't screw them down too tight or they break off. S.
  8. Trust me, it was built right. The material I used was much different than the starboard, but I still can't see it being a good material for a floor. Its at least twice as heavy as wood too. I've done a few boat floors, and built a couple hundred houses, so I have a little experience in building floors.....I could be wrong.... Aluminum checker plate would be better IMO. S.
  9. Yep, its hunting season!! Git 'er done!! S.
  10. I dunno if the one I have here is any good to you. It looks pretty flimsy. Ive seen the old steel washer drums your talking about, and this one seems really thin in comparison. Its yours if you want it though. I can email or text pics if youd like to see some. Just pm me a contact. Im in millbrook BTW. Washer even works S.
  11. I get that all the time too....and to think the bass guys have so much trouble catching eyes they say its boring.... S.
  12. I might have what you need. I'll go have a look. Just got a new washer S.
  13. Ive used similar stuff, and honestly dont think it will make a very good floor. The 4x8 sheets really sag a lot. I used similar sheets to build a huge composter at my work. It was 3/4" thick, and sagged quite a bit over a 16" span in the sun. Sure, it will never rot, but I dont think its great for a floor. It weighs a ton too BTW. The stuff I used came from Taylors Plastics. Google them and compare, I didnt fully read your link. Starboard is great stuff for many other uses, but im not sure it would make a good floor. Id consider using the "plastic" deck boards, they are tough, but still really heavy. S.
  14. I get the impression this is used for casting from shore? S.
  15. I love the sound of thr-hull exaust! Just not so much when im fishin. S.
  16. I caught a merganser on a salty under a float at the pickering nuke plant, a few gulls...mostly casting at night off lake O piers, had a loon chase an inland rainbow right to the boat, then once the fish went on the chain, tried to steal it multiple times....had to bonk it and put on ice...crazy birds! S.
  17. Power washer. S.
  18. Best floor going if you ask me. Cover it in vinyl and your set for a looooong time. S.
  19. Easy now...trust me....i LOVE my hardwater and winter activities....BUT....its hunting season first!!! S.
  20. Good luck Brian!! Wish I could say the same! S.
  21. No reason at all..go for it! Just make sure its strong enough, or you add extra support....i know your a big dude! S.
  22. Have them load tested at a battery shop, or CT etc. S
  23. Those fish are awesome! Congrats! S.
  24. Its a legal requirement that they have no rips or tears. I guess if they are ripped, the foam could come right out of the material, leaving you with nothing. S.
  25. Same here.... S.
