I will be at the 8th annual North GTA Tackle Swap on the 8th of April. This will be my first time as a vendor. Home for months during the covid hit, working weekends gives me to much time on my hands .I have so much stock built up,I need to get rid of some of it. Going to be a blow out sale,so get some while they last. Twitch, jig and ice grubs and a few others. Way too many to post pics of.
While I'm not overly familiar with many of the PP's I have been looking at Restoule as a possible destination this summer.
It looks promising with access to a couple of lakes.
Well after a four year absence in our club's (Stelco Fishing Club) annual awards night due to Covid we were finally able to host the event again last evening.
The attendance fell far short of our pre Covid numbers but the evening was over all a success with approximately 140/150 people in attendance. I don't have many pictures as yet from the evening, I will share more when I have some.
On behalf of the membership, the executive and myself, we all send our gratitude and thanks to Mr David Chong for making the trip to the Hammer to talk about our mutual passion, fishing!
Good to see you again David, cheers and best wishes for the upcoming open water fishing season.
It was a lot of fun at the Stelco Awards Evening! Always great speaking and meeting people who share your passion! Really appreciate the invite! Hope to hook up with you at some point Art!!!!
I have no problem with the gov't managing the resource through seasons, limits, slot sizes, sanctuary zones, number of rods/hooks, barbless, artificials only, etc...but restricting the way in which I can "find" fish...well, that's over the line for me.
Regardless, trying to prohibit technology never works.
Guided a group up from Wisconsin for some lake trout last week, kinda slow morning and we set up way later than I’d hoped but they got three decent ones and everyone got chased so good times.
Dave is one of the most passionate people who truly supports fishing. He is on my bucket list of people I want to meet.
if you ever make it to the Washington D.C. area I have a standing offer still for a free fishing trip.

Is there advanced tickets required?
Or is it pay at the door?
Plus I wouldn't know another OFC member if I tripped over them.
Maybe have members show a red handkerchief in their shirt pocked. Anything red, even one of your wife's panties. Just to remind you of home. LOL
