  1. My whole family were born and raised in the West Flanders of Belgium. My Granddad and his brother (Uncle Bennie) fought in the trenches of the 1914/1918 war. After Belgium became occupied by the Germans.; he/they had to lay their guns down and became a slave laborer's for the Germans. He was allowed to go home at night and that's where his fight began again, with the underground and black-market. Black market to feed the family and the underground to screw with the the German's occupation. The stories from both granddad and Uncle Bennie are slowly fading in my memory; but I know they never stopped fighting. My Dad was 12 years old when WW2 broke out and he followed his Dad's and Uncle's sense of fighting where it counted, in the resistance. They're all gone now; but no one can take the pride I have for them. Dan.

  3. I think I’ve got you beat Art 😄 My jet boat will eat through almost 14 gallons an hour of premium at full throttle. 💸💸💸 Thank god it spends the majority of time on the trolling motor.

  4. In most cases you are right. however if there is no snow to cool snowmobiles atvs still work and In the town I live in I can drive my atv down the main road to the beach and onto the lake or all the way to big bay point on the road and onto the lake I can’t do that with a snowmobile in this town Unless I run on the road and destroy my skis and carbines but if you have to trailer it to the lake snowmobiles are safer on thin ice and jumping pressure cracks , deeper snow and if you want to make long runs they are faster

  6. I like Yamahas but they are all pretty good now i think 500 plus is better 4x4 is a must however I ride it 2 wheel drive as much as possible winch is needed chains are nice however I only put them on when I get stuck. I don’t like running with them, it’s a rougher ride , loud ,the bike digs into the snow deeper so you have to push more snow so it slows you down , burns more gas and can help you get stuck in big drifts by diffing in so much where without them you could skip over top of the snow drift

  9. Seen quite a few DIY paint jobs on older tinners using the roll and tip method on IBoats, some look pretty respectable, could save a bundle.
