Finally managed to scoop something up! 2000 16’ Starcraft Fishmaster 160 with a 40hp Merc ELPTO of the same year. Has a couple older humminbird finders on it but both are working. So is the Minn Kota Maxxum 45lb on the bow despite being about 15 years old. Has livewell and bilge and vinyl floors and I bought it from the original owner. He gave me his original receipt and all of the paperwork and manuals from 20 years ago. Happy with the purchase and think I got a good deal. Now I need to fix a bit of the vinyl that is peeling on the back casting deck. Any recommendations on where I can buy marine grade vinyl for a decent price? Jack has caught the fishing bug this year. Loving spending time in the boat with him. He is a pretty good angler and watches and learns really quick.

Curious how folks did. We had 3 yaks on the water for a couple of days. Moved lots of fish, caught 5 or 6. Nothing over 40". Weed growth here is very slow, so fish seemed to be cruising off the edges. All the fish were caught on smaller lures, couldn't get much interest on larger presentations.

OF my Craftsman has been here since 2000 and it works great, one I had to replace and went Genie, They stooped making Genie they say cheap China crap. Door guy told me use it until it craps out, no fixing them. Lowe’s took over the Crafsman brand here in Canada. Doors are going up Thursday.

Saw him in Midland a few months ago. Also saw him at a pub in TO about 15 yrs ago, no cover. Puts on a good show.

Got to see this guy 10 or so years ago at a pub , downtown Grimsby, don't think there was even a cover. Stayed till closing, the place wasn't even packed, one of the best nights of blues in my memory. Talked to him a bit , my age , he is British born and grew up with the same British blues I loved as a teen, Clapton, Mayall, Green etc.

I will tell you my best shore spots, right after you take me to your best Ginseng spots. Deal? And I'm not talking farmed stuff either...... S.
