lureme Posted July 25, 2018 Report Posted July 25, 2018 Just outfitted my boat for eyes and wondering where and how far out to get some Erie eyes , I have a deep 16' with 90hp evenrude , just want to be cautious. I have dipsy divers and planner boards. What would you recommend?
OhioFisherman Posted July 25, 2018 Report Posted July 25, 2018 Well this is from the Ohio side of the lake, and the news keeps saying the walleye fishing is the best it has been in 40 years. I can only assume since it is the same lake on the Ontario side things probably aren't much different?
AKRISONER Posted July 25, 2018 Report Posted July 25, 2018 outfit the boat with some electronics and go for a spin, ive spent many skunked days on the water...put the rods in and see what happens. im sure you will eventually start at least marking some fish if you keep changing the depth you are driving around in.
Headhunter Posted July 25, 2018 Report Posted July 25, 2018 Find 60ft of water and start trolling! There plenty of fish and they are easily caught. Just be careful out there as that lake can turn into a washing machine in no time! HH
