Bad Weather coming

Is that time of year here. Friggn warm today and cold front makes for some serious weather.

Conditions are favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts.

A cold front is expected to sweep through Southern Ontario this afternoon bringing showers and a few thunderstorms along with it. There is a potential that some of these thunderstorms may be severe with strong gusty winds being the main threat. Winds gusts of 90 km/h are possible in these severe thunderstorms.

Hail is also possible.

Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.

Ya, couple of light flickers, couple of good bursts of wind, little lightning and a dump of rain, pretty much the end. And the temps took a good drop too.

We are getting light rain on and off. Thunder in the distance.

It came and went in the matter of 10 min here (unless it returns) but the rain was so hard my eaves couldn't keep up.

I swear the grass has grown an inch and the colour dark green.
