You'll never see polypropylene rope on my boat. Braided nylon only.

yup the poly stuff is crap !!! wont see it on my boat either .....nylon rope all the way

All 1/2" braided nylon on my boat.

Even my anchor line is braided nylon.

$40 for a pair of mooring lines is cheap insurance IMHO.

Dave's right - totally cheap insurance. But every now and then you see people use the bargain bin crap ... it never ceases to amaze me.

Great advice and the right time of the year to be thinking of it. Do you really want a claim on your boat insurance because you cheeped on rope? That can cause so many other bad things to happen, like damage. Thanks "All Knowing Angler" for the great advice.
