huzzsaba Posted November 30, 2015 Report Posted November 30, 2015 I inherited this tool set. it is some sort of ratchet set with a 1 inch socket head on it. Any idea what this is worth?
muddler Posted November 30, 2015 Report Posted November 30, 2015 Looks like a ratchet that truckers would use or for heavy machinery. What make/manufacturer is it? I did a Google search and there's quite a few 1" ratchets out there.
huzzsaba Posted November 30, 2015 Author Report Posted November 30, 2015 (edited) I believe its Westlake or something of that sort. the ratchet is actually telescopic so it doubles in length. I will check the name and report back. Edited November 30, 2015 by huzzsaba

DanD Posted December 1, 2015 Report Posted December 1, 2015 Everything at Acklands Grainger is over priced. IMO Car quest sells the same set (#SAK347) suggested list price of $446.60; my cost (Garage price) is $384.95 and CQ isn't known to be the cheapest place to buy tools from. This set used, maybe worth 100 - 150 bucks, if you're lucky. Dan.
aplumma Posted December 1, 2015 Report Posted December 1, 2015 Yea Graingers is not the place to buy anything. way to pricey if you can locate it else where, It has a small market due to the size 1". Good luck with the sale. Art
irishfield Posted December 1, 2015 Report Posted December 1, 2015 Depending whom you inherited it from, it could be priceless!! If not I'll give you a 100 bucks for it, if you drop it off!

Definitely seemed overpriced from the start but $150 used seems like a good ballpark figure from what Ive seen online.
