Scary stuff!
dsn Posted September 3, 2015 Report Posted September 3, 2015 (edited) Just read it now. Toronto island harbor. Maybe it's time to breakout the carp gear. Edited September 3, 2015 by dsn
dave524 Posted September 3, 2015 Report Posted September 3, 2015 Like back in July , these are Grass Carp, while not a good thing , they are not the silver carp that explode out of the water when boats pass.
huzzsaba Posted September 4, 2015 Report Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) Aren't these the same I see swimming around at port credit and bronte? So what if you catch one? What should you do? I see the one like in the picture all the time and also something that looks Like carp but more of a silver color I have been noticing lately. Edited September 4, 2015 by huzzsaba
chris.brock Posted September 4, 2015 Report Posted September 4, 2015 Probably common carp you're seeing Huzz. If I caught one of the new invasive carp species, I'd keep it and call the MNR.
Acountdeleted Posted September 4, 2015 Report Posted September 4, 2015 Still not good sadly but at least they aren't the jumpy super Mario carp.
