misfish Posted November 21, 2014 Report Posted November 21, 2014 The bottom of the bay had ice. The boat couldnt get to them so they brought in the ice boat to get to them. Thats what they said on the radio.
irishfield Posted November 21, 2014 Report Posted November 21, 2014 When I heard it first this morning... all I could think of was Brian and Terry out fishing !
LostAnotherOne Posted November 21, 2014 Report Posted November 21, 2014 Glad everyones ok. I fish cooks bay in the winter and the rescue crew comes around at least once a season to help people out usually at the beginning of the season.
mike rousseau Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 (edited) I wonder if they'll be charged for the rescue... Lol... But in all seriousness glad everyone was ok... Scary stuff... Glad they had a cell phone... Edited November 22, 2014 by Mike Rousseau
wormdunker Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 The circumstances surrounding this case are irrelevant. The main thing is the guys were rescued & they are healthy. Is that why we pay taxes?
