mattp33 Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 A high of 50 here today and rainy and blowing, hope they have better conditions there! Nope lol They shut down simcoe and ran couch only Live link anyone?
OhioFisherman Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 LOL Matt, Simcoe is a big lake, probably as much fun as Lake Erie would be today in a bass boat. That link keeps show the 2012 tournament for me, but the time shows 4pm, so maybe the live link starts at 4?
misfish Posted October 18, 2014 Author Report Posted October 18, 2014 They shut down simcoe and ran couch only Not a chance Matt. Phil, thats what Im thinking.

Good luck to all Edited October 18, 2014 by mattp33

misfish Posted October 18, 2014 Author Report Posted October 18, 2014 CSFL has tweeted a few results.First place went to Paul Castellano and Taro Murata with 24.1 lbs.
Steve Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Paul Castellano!!!!! Awesome!!!! A working fisherman! He deserves it 10000%. I'm sure that'll ruffle some of the hard core tournie guys... I'm sure Vince is proud!!!
misfish Posted October 18, 2014 Author Report Posted October 18, 2014 Theres been some great prefish reports. I guess the weather played a big part. Some of the reports would of made me believe a 30+ bag would of won.
Steve Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Paul fishes and guides Erie....he can work that rough water like no ones business. An Erie boy wins on Simcoe. :clapping:

OhioFisherman Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 http://www.orilliapacket.com/2014/10/18/angling-duo-quadruples-the-weight-of-its-catch-at-last-years-lake-simcoe-open-to-win-this-years-event
OhioFisherman Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 Surprised a 24lb bag won.. I am thinking that the weather was a big factor? Simcoe like Lake Erie can spoil you? 24 pounds of bass here in Ohio on any other lake besides Lake Erie is probably a lock on first. Almost a 5 pound average? That is a pretty good deal almost anywhere?
