AdamS Posted May 24, 2014 Report Posted May 24, 2014 Hey guys I might be picking up a boat but it will probably be stored outside for the first little bit so I'm wondering where I can get a decent boat cover as well as if there's anything I should look for/stay away from when buying one. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
bushart Posted May 24, 2014 Report Posted May 24, 2014 I usually buy the canvas ones from Cdn Tire or wally world---seem ok---bout 200 bucks for my boat DO STAY AWAY FROM THOSE CHEAP PLASTIC TARP ONES_______GAAAARRRRBBBAAAGE!!!!!
Bill Shearer Posted May 24, 2014 Report Posted May 24, 2014 Cabelas and BassPro also offer decent covers. I second to stay away from the cheap plastic covers.
Cosmos Posted May 25, 2014 Report Posted May 25, 2014 Princess Auto - StormPro Heavy duty covers and also motor covers. cheapest place to buy it.
Tim Mills Posted May 25, 2014 Report Posted May 25, 2014 Buddy at work bought one at Costco a month ago and is very happy with it. $100 Basic outboard cover at Princess is the same as the bass pro but with different packaging, $10 cheaper
AdamS Posted May 26, 2014 Author Report Posted May 26, 2014 Hey guys, Thanks for all the replies I appreciate the help! I might try the princess auto or the costco one as its down the street; and I'll stay away from plastic tarps.
Fisherman Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 You missed CTC had them on sale for 1/2 price last week and those come with a 4 year warranty to boot.
