Ontario also has a resident lake Monster---books written and even news teams from LA sent at the time to investigate

 

 

Yup---it's "Mussie" of Muskrat Lake in Cobden. Ontario

 

10 miles long and places near 300 ft deep---once near the Voyageurs route around the rapids of the Ottawa River

 

Aaaaaand ya'll know da guy dat painted the postcard for ole Cobden town :whistling:

Yeah they didn't want to put "monster" on the postcard---as tourist operators didn't want to scare kids from swimming---true story
